  1. I'm using 6mm single cap rivets, and finally managed to fit them. I'll post a pic tomorrow [emoji106] Marc
  2. For me, all that matters is that you have created a set of armour for your kids. There seems to be no intention to sell. I love what you've invested to make your kids happy, hats off to you sir Marc
  3. I rarely visit the main site. Have always used Tapatalk. Marc
  4. Hi buddy, try using Tapatalk to upload photos and posts from your phone / tablet directly without having to go through sites such as photobucket etc Marc
  5. I really appreciate your kind words Chris! I had a look at your build from last year, it looks awesome mate. But, I had to stop at your trigger mod because I started getting the desire to rip my trigger assembly apart and I've got my tk to finish[emoji6] !How odd though, I've never seen your build before, but we both used the same monicle, counter reels and calipers [emoji50] Marc
  6. This is my third doopy kit. I do know that if you want notification emails of when they're in stock all you get is a blank email, which could be whyyou're getting them? Marc
  7. Maybe they've begun to listen to feedback. I responded to their confirmation email requesting that my order was a November birthday present for my son. They didn't get back to me about my request. But, they emailed to say it was dispatched. Maybe it was a quick dispatch due to his birthday. I kinda hope not because that means they've prioritised my order over others who have ordered ahead. Sorry if that's the case [emoji26] . I'm in the uk so don't know if that makes a difference? Marc
  8. You might be able to sell the others on Marc
  9. New thighs or a repair job mate? Marc
  10. I think their communications have improved lately.I've read Alot about how poor they were at communication. Since my order yesterday I have had several emails from them. My last was at 19.00 to let me know it had been dispatched. That's the quickest I've ever known them process an order! Marc
  11. Congratulations mate! Marc
  12. Thanks for the suggestion mate! I'm using capped rivets on the knee belt. I managed to get them done yesterday (just about!) So secured them with the addition of some e6000. [emoji6] Marc
  13. Whist the glue was drying on my plates, I moved on to dying my boots. Here's how they were before work began This is the dye I'm using And here's the boots after about FIVE coats! Another couple and I'll be onto the elastic. Any suggestions as to what to use would be fantastic! MarcBoots done. Marc
  14. Strapping system pretty much done. Just need to replace the butt to kidney straps as the ones currently installed are too small and pull the butt over the bottom of the kidney plate..... elastic should arrive today Waiting for the sniper plate to set, along with the dabs of e6000 on the knee ammo belt. Not far off my first suit up now. Marc
  15. They've still got stock. I've just ordered one for my boys Christmas present [emoji106] [emoji2] [emoji106] Marc
  16. I'm currently building mine, and this is exactly the way I'm going. I've trimmed down to where I think its correct, and will do a complete test fit before the final cuts and sanding. Marc
  17. How on earth do you set these single capped rivets in the knee ammo belt once the thigh I'd assembled?!?!? Marc
  18. Love it!!!! I think for a kids kit, that's amazing work ! The only problem you face now is remaking the molds to keep up with how quick kids grow! Marc
  19. Blaster looks great! Loving the stand BTW. I would do one of two things with the scope. Either strip it down and repaint or leave as is. Depends on what effect you want to go for [emoji106] Marc
  20. That's a really good point to bring up mate. There is so much fake stuff out there. Marc
  21. Is that the front or back in the pic mate? If it's the back I believe that there is a high possibility that this area would be cut out to allow for greater movement. Marc
  22. The other thing that I've just thought of is the fact that you may need to slice into this area and remove some material in order to have better movement. I'd focus on the rear length rather than the raised area and maybe come back to it once you establish whether you need to remove anything. There's no point putting a strip behind if it's going to be cut off. [emoji6] Marc
  23. I'm doing mine like you said....45° and soften up the angle. It may be worth posting in ukswrath anovos thread ( as it seems to be a Q&A thread now ) if you want an official steer. Marc
