  1. "100% money back guarantee If you are not satisfied for any reason, simply drop me an email and I will give you a 100% refund upon returning the item. If you are not happy then neither am I." Now I'd be surprised if anyone was happy if he paid 10k for a bucket like this. But Hey, you'll get your money back, ... for sure!
  2. So if anyone of you Stormtrooper fans around here has recently for example sold one (or maybe both) of his kidney and now doesn`t know what to do with the money I would like to direct your attention to this "hot deal"! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-Sandtrooper-Helmet-/171210073346?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item27dcea6502 The same guy tries to sell Tusken Raider kits, Aluminium cold cast human skulls, Boba Fett helmet kits (clearly to be made out as a recast as the well known "FP" emblem is on the visor) and some other mask for the same amount of money. But best of all: Aluminium Cold Cast Boba Fett Helmet Kit - $20,000 (of course "FP" on the visor)! According to his selling history on Ebay he has already sold some of the Boba helmets and Human skulls, but for $100-$200 each one. Seems like success has turned his head.
  3. LOL, maybe they are using dog sleighs!
  4. Hello everybody! About two weeks ago one of my Star Wars dreams came true: The postal service brought me a big brown box from the UK. At first I was kind of sceptical because overall it looked a bit too small to contain the great armour I was expecting to receive. But fortunately I was wrong and there it is: My new ESB TM armour, completely assembled and painted by the Master himself. From the first time I got into that suit it fitted me like a glove. TM really did a great job adapting the different parts to my body measurements! Paul offered me to duplicate the look of a special ESB helmet if I prefered one of them. After doing some research I stumbled across this picture and loved it from the first moment I saw it: And that`s what he did to my helmet: I`ve already been able to read a lot about the original strapping system and taking a look at it at some events but until now I`ve never worn a suit using it. The original system may be kind of „old“ and there might be one or another disadvantage but it definatley convinced me. I don`t know how much time the assemblers of the original suits may have invested in thinking about how to connect the different pieces the best way. I guess in fact they didn`t have too much time to think about it. But the more astonishing it is that they developed this great system: stable but still flexible. I especially love the way the calves are hold together! So what can I say? I`m totally thrilled by the armour and I am definately going to head for EIB and Centurion status with this suit! Paul, once more „Thanks a lot!“ for building this wonderful armour for me! You are a really great guy to deal with and I hope you are going on to continue enriching the community with your abilities, knowledge and helpfulness for some more decades!
  7. On the other hand it`s at least not a FX bucket.
  8. Once more you "Stormtrooper nerds" out there proof that this is THE place to look for information about white armour! Keep up the good work!
  10. I`m in with $150.
  11. Well, if you are looking for screen accuracy then finishing strips would be the right way to connect the arms and legs.
  12. Thanks a lot for the information!
  13. Hello! I`m planning to visit the Celebration VI next year in Florida. Via the official C VI webside you can book a hotel. In the fist step of the booking process I have to state the check-in, check-out date and so on. Furthermore I have to choose a "category" (Fan, Exhibitor, 501st/Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs or Dark Empire). In fact I`m a member of the 501st Legion but a password is needed when I choose this category. Now my question is: "Where do I get this password from?" Does is mean the hotel rates are going to be cheaper when I choose this category? Or is this category reserved only for the people who are going to visit C VI in costume? Thanks, Eduard
  14. A D-ring you could get from here: ---------
  15. Really cool looking pic! It`s taken beside the ExCel Exhibition Centre in London, isn`t it? I think I can remember the skyline from the time I was there visiting the Star Wars Celebration Europe in 2007.
  16. Looking really good so far! I`d only suggest to cut the teeth out some more.
  17. I`ve already bought it one or two years ago. It looks really cool, it`s a product of very high quality and I`m extremely satisfied with it. Furthermore it`s absolutely no problem to put the three pieces together. The pictures shown on their webside are not very representative, I`ve made some of my own one: DLT-19
  18. WOW!! Really a great piece of work and a real beauty!
  19. What kind of glue did you use to attach the snaps to the ABS plastic?
  20. Of course, you are absolutely right, that`s a way to get in contact again. Just wanted to point out this specific "problem" when the reply-option doesn`t work any more.
  21. At first the preliminary events leading up to my proposal: Some time ago I`ve started a conversation with a member here on the bord. Recently I`v made an reply to this conversation but he didn`t answer. So I`ve tried it some times more with the same result. I started to wonder and worry until it occured to me that he might have already deleted our conversation. In fact in the field „Participants“ it says „Has left the conversation“. And that means that he will no longer receive my replies. Right? So my proposal would be: Wouldn`t it be technically be able that the system doesn`t allow any replies to conversations that your dialog partner has already deleted at all? Or maybe a pop-up could appear informing you about this fact. On the other side maybe I`m the only one not knowing about this case.
  22. ... und natürlich eine Menge toller Events!
  23. You are absolutely right! In his offer he says: "Primary picture is example of a D-42 stunt kit. This auction is for a nearly identical Hero version of this kit with the changes noted below." So that might answer some of the questions but the fact that he doesn`t simply show one of these Hero kits makes me suspicious too.
  24. In the CRL Requirements - ESB it says: "Frown must be painted black and not leave the teeth area." Looks like you`ve got to do some more painting in this area.
  25. Have you already been taking a look at this thread:---------- A lot of great alternatives are listed there and the contact informations too.
