  1. i think that is a copy paste error? the ICN has a 3+1 style but, the HWT has 3X standard MP-40 style ammo pouches. they should be made of Black leather or leather-like materiel (like vinyl or pleather) on the left is a standard MP40 pouch and rhe right is a 3+1 style
  2. wow! that is looking sweet the trimmed look really has grown on me a lot since making my ICN. i hope you are planning to go EI/centurion we could really use more ROTJ troopers in the ranks..
  3. if the mic has internal damage your best option is to replace it. small mic's are dirt cheap . i have managed to fix one years ago, if i can recall i boiled some water and held it above the steam for a few seconds. this was for a pro condenser mic for music recording so i cant say if it will work on yours. the thing with the small mics is the diaphragm inside can become very brittle over time and moisture can cause oxidation inside the mic. this will produce the cutting out you are describing. i would replace the mic. if you have a radio shack amp you should be able to get a replacement mic. if not just about any small condenser type mic should work, like from a phone, gaming headset etc.
  4. i noticed the bells were correct in your other pics. so as i stated, it is a minor strapping adjustment i hear you on the cold lol. im about to keel over tis the season
  5. the current ANH crl states "The gray "ear" bars have three of four bumps, with a black outline. The bumps may or may not be painted" also there is nothing in the crl that requires exact color matching for helmet details. the only thing i can see is that your shoulder bells could be adjusted a bit (they are pulling back quite a bit). but that is a minor strapping adjustment. overall it looks smashing good luck
  6. Happy Easter! and if you eat too many stormtrooper Peeps... be sure to brush your teeth
  7. haha! got to love a kid's imagination
  8. approved! and kudos for becoming the first ESB centurion!!! and a additional salute for taking the time to submit both ANH and ESB excellent work trooper!
  9. very nice indeed and an easy pass now you just need to decide if you want ESB or ANH centurion status. and let me know what action shot you want to use. also instead of deleting one of your submissions i merged the 2 together into one post as they really are both fantastic! just let me know which way you want to go and i will approve
  10. very good Azhari! just a few small things that need fixing. your butt plate has the tail look and needs to be strapped or bent to fit your body. also the side gaps are not closed. see this thread of your garrison mates, you both need the same fixes http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=14482 as i suggested in the link above some trimming and foam padding should be used to fill out the armor and close the overlapping ab plate
  11. fantastic! i realize it may seem a small detail to some, to me it really adds to the illusion of functionality. great work Mathias, an kudos for being the first approved centurion!!! congratulations!!!
  12. that will be fixed before ROTJ goes live
  13. the BBC templates have the cocking lever details. but it doesn't need to be an exact replica. like you said a nail with the head cut off (i would round it off for safety) or a metal, wood or plastic rod. as long as it is there. i would have let is go for EI but for centurion i think all the major external details should be present as seen on a sterling for example trigger trigger guard front and rear sights bayonet lug end cap barrel tip back cap latch cocking handle all of these details fall into the same category so if i let one slide i have to let them all slide.
  14. nor is the front/rear sights or trigger guard ect.. but they should be present as well
  15. very nice build the armor looks fantastic! my only concern is the blaster, it is missing one crucial detail.. the charging handle (or cocking lever) seems to be missing. it is a small detail i know but it really should be present it is a detail that is readily seen on all ANH blasters that i have seen, and would be a necessity for the blank firing props it doesn't need to be perfect but it should be present.
  16. i would like to note: all applicants must provide a quality action shot to be approved.
  17. please remember that you must provide photos that show every centurion requirement in detail,if you submit your current EIB photos they will not be accepted unless the show every detail required ------------ note:all centurion requirements are listed in red you can also provide links to your EIB subbision photos for specific details note: all EIB requirements are listed in blue
  18. the problem with not wearing the shoulder bell is it is impossible to get a regular pauldron to bend like it does in the screenshots.. (trust me i tried everything i could think of ) even if you bend the pauldron it still looks really lop sided without the bell under it .. also too much black shows from the back. it should be there for base CRL standards,EIB,centurion.. perhaps if one could make a very custom pauldron that matches the shape of the bell. but that would be pretty hard to pull off and still be able to move your arms
  19. got your message..i would say if it doesn't look right to you, just cut it off. but i would get you strapping all worked out before making the cut. looking through past EI threads and the screens, it seems that larger troopers tend to keep the flat area in the back, where generally the skinny or shorter troopers tend cut them off. but like i said adjust your strapping and make sure it looks ok and that the chest and back are properly aligned before cutting it off. you can always trim later, but once you cut you cannot stretch it to fit if it is too short
  20. take note of the thermal detonator in battlefront 2. it also has no details and it is only 1/2 of a canister.. also it was left on the HWT and they just slapped the pack over it.. i think the game details are lacking in this area because the game programmers probably didnt think people would focus the stormies butts? ANH/ESB TD many troopers in ROTJ didn't wear a TD at all and some were worn up-side down
  21. looking good Steven! i would like to see close up shots of the helmet. showing the green lenses, hovi tips ect.. also you will need an action shot for your EIB profile a E11 or the se14r will work for this if you cant get your flamethrower.. as for fixes needed for EIB you will need to make a few small changes. for one you need to have both shoulder bells on. and you also need the molded edge around the butt plate also the molded edge is not installed correctly in some areas. you need to trim off the return edges like seen below to make it look as it should it also looks like the shin overlap is backwards on your right shin. that should be fixed as well
  22. chicago screws come in a variety of sizes, but you could replace the back screw with a longer one if needed to get through your belt.
  23. haha! thanks chuck! just what i needed today
