  1. one other thing i just noticed.. you need 7 t-tracks on the blaster. you must cover the open rows of holes like this
  2. very nice build. i really like the blaster customizations, but for EIB i would ask that you remove the extra added piece on the scope, you can always put it back on if it is OK with your GML for trooping. also the zip ties on the shoulder straps should be removed. if you are going for a screen used look, replace them with white elastic. note: the elastic is a EI should have and is not required for approval
  3. ive been following this closely.. but i am also cramming for exams it looks great!
  4. you could try tracing the stencils on to masking tape, then mask off the blue stripes only and paint over them with white. also for getting a good masking seal, apply the stencil then coat with a thin coat of matte clear acrylic sealer. let the sealer dry before painting. i have done this when airbrushing with really thin paints to prevent bleeding.
  5. you can apply when you are ready the requirements are here http://www.whitearmor.net/home/crl-overview/crl-rotj.html
  6. haha !! so German ? sorry lol i was thinking Swiss = Swedish for some reason thanks for the corrections..
  7. ok looks really nice! will be an easy pass ser riktigt trevligt! kommer att vara ett lätt pass
  8. can you photograph the blaster D-ring, and show green lenses in the helmet? kan du fotografera Blaster D-ring, och visa gröna linser i hjälmen?
  9. i tried translating, does this help??? können Sie einige Fotos hier zu sehen? Dank auch Panzerung Blaster D-Ring Ich werde Sie bei Ihrer Bewerbung helfen und Sie erhalten 501. Zugang _________________________________________________________________
  10. first you need to get 501st forum access HERE read through some of the past EI threads to see what others have done, and read the submission guidelinesHEREand HERE then upload your photos to photobucket or image shack and post them HERE if you have any more questions, feel free to ask
  11. i agree. could be rivets brads or grommets?.. the details are really subject to individual interpretation. i think as long as the details looks similar is size and are positioned correctly it should be ok.
  12. your 501st profile will get set up for you in time, you don't need to do anything there.. you could get all the photos ready for your EIB application in the meantime.. have you got your TK # yet? I am looking forward to your application Rob
  13. looking good! great idea with the box.. just be careful not to burn up your dremel
  14. i found the pics of the suit at C5 I really dont think this is a good reference due to the slapped together look of the armor, and the belt has way too many holes. but i think vern has a good point.. it does look like grommets on the tkc belt.
  15. "the belt plastic is also not centered on the belt, but is aligned to the top of the plastic belt." could you clarify this Vern? so i can better understand what you mean and where can we find photos for the belt from CV ??
  16. here is a closeup of the belt guys
  17. here is the best i could get from the game E-11 texture files ( these took a ton of work to get ) you can almost see t-tracks on the purple skin i just noticed that there is in fact ROTJ greeblies on the TKC E-11.... look closley at the lower right hand section of the textures ( it is the main receiver) you can see two ROTJ greeblies and with that... this detail is pinned
  18. i need to get lucky and run into one while playing lol they seem to appear randomly, same with the ICN
  19. i think the same can be said by everyone here except you ROB, i think you've taken it to a new level all hands salute Terry!!
  20. i put this together when finishing up my current build. i noticed there are several different shades of blue. i took the colors directly from the game textures because the in game lighting can effect the colors (they appear lighter of darker depending on position) enjoy here is an example I used 4 different shades of blue and tried to match the colors as best as i could I used navy blue, brilliant blue, royal blue and just a plain blue. i applied the darker shades first and went over with lighter shades (it looks much darker in normal lighting and brilliant in direct sunlight) paintchart.webp
  21. those pics are fine. i can see that it can be tightened with that you are approved!! fantastic job trooper EIB # 160!! as well
  22. looking good Rob, looks like a bit of your undersuit is coming out over your shoulder in the middle pic but that's minor.. and you really need to fix those walls JK
  23. my helmet has that same dip also. i still wouldn't fill it in, it might cause problems in the future if the filler comes loose.
  24. listen to the boss your almost there now, might as well go for the gold!!
