i assume the helmet is painted HIPS? if that is the case i would steer clear from ant type of paint thinner my self, even with a steady hand it could become a big blue mess really fast if it were my helmet i would use what i call the magic eraser technique get some gloss white acrylic paint (not solvent based) just like the stuff you can find at craft stores.
you can touch up the blue using this method as well
it might take a few (very light) coats to mask all of the blue but it beats sanding it off and repainting the whole helmet
we are currently re arranging the forums to make them a bit more user friendly and hopefully make it easier to find specific things one may be looking for. you may notice things may be missing but they are just being moved around sorry for the temporary inconvenience but once it is complete it should be a big improvement
well thats a tricky one ; there are only 2 TKC eib recipiants so far. but keep in mind the standards have changed a bit since there badges were awarded.
the best example to date that i would recommend for a reference is seantroopers TKC also the armor in the current CRL requirements is up to date as well http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_commander
also use the screenshots as a guide, and i highly recommend getting the game to use as a reference
i usually just use a scrap price of wood or cardboard for my touchup paint
another tip... never spill superglue on sweatpants i did this and my pants started to smoke!! then actually melted.. not sure what the fabric was, but it had a violent reaction
the cocking lever actually functions Vern,,, and serves as a practical means of changing the batteries and switching the sound light configurations. im not in to making the same thing that everyone else has i dare to be different

its a bit more work but optionally you could also use a doopydoos kit and not install the counter and cylinders for an ESB style ideally get a m-19 scope from TK-4702 but the doopydoos scope will work for EIB as well
here is a ESB blaster i made from a doopy pipe kit and a M19 scope casting
in addition could you also pleas provide photos of the CAP suit that your armor was cast from? since you altered the MTK molds the Lineage cannot be determined from the pics you provided alone. also the pics you provided are test pulls and are lacking in detail for some parts (the backplate is a very soft pull). a side by side comparison would be great for seeing the changes that you made
great work on all the fixes!! you can add the thigh pics when you get the cover strip material you ordered from RT-MOD .. Approved! and great work trooper
