12-17-2024, Ranger Unitt Community Service Award for Erin A great troop for one of our own Mountain Garrison member. Even if she is rebel scum. Recognition for public service by Fort Collins. I was proud to be part of her escort to the podium.4 points

TROOP #10 - Fort Worth Parade of Lights 11/24/2024 Troop 10! I totally forgot to post it here a few weeks ago, but here it is. This was an insane event, there were so many members marching, and THOUSANDS of people attending the parade it was awesome. TK-54832 and I also had fun decking out our kits in Christmas livery. We also marched with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Tarrant County, to raise awareness for the program.2 points

Greetings to all! I'm glad to finally share my little progress here. Initially, the goal was to make only a helmet, but now I'm thinking about creating a full armor. The choice of the helmet model was in favor of Vek3d, as it most closely matches the image in the movie. During the printing process, I saw a number of flaws that I decided to fix, and my friend helped me with this. - increased the detail and elaboration of cracks - made more removable parts - redesigned vocoder - added parts from the inner underside - the entire back of the helmet was completely redesigned, bringing it to the image of the Stormtrooper from Rogue one, I'm sure this part was taken from there. - redesigned the ears. Another milestone for the Scottish garrison. It must be something in the IronBru.1 point

As Glen has said, we'd want to see the photos first. If we feel they meet the criteria for the CRL, we will then update the LMO to make the live CRL. Your best bet is to create a build thread in the Enoch area: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/266-cpt-enoch-build-threads/ Once you've done that we will be able to update you on any changes or what the next steps would be.1 point

All the images need to be posted in the CRL thread (or sent to our DL @themaninthesuitcase), backgrounds are edited and there needs to be a last look over the text. Once that is complete it is sent to the Legion Membership Officer team to decide if the CRL is complete and meets their requirements and ready for inclusion into the legion. More info on the process https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLGuide Notes to Keep in Mind Typically as much time will be spent researching and looking at reference sources as it will take to make / assemble the costume. Ideally, there are clear full body pictures of the front, side, and back. When in doubt, email and ask [email protected], providing all reference for the character in question. Understand that a CRL undergoes many revisions by many people before publishing and that it is possible that there are multiple people working on the same costume at the same time. There are no guidelines on creating a new costume aside from reference material, and a costumer may be asked to change things multiple times. Understand that a CRL is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather it is a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Detailed instructions, designs, and specific measurements are to be recorded within the detachment forum’s WIP documentation. The costume will not be approved in the Membership Database until all of the steps to create the CRL are completed. The wait period from completion of costume to approval can be lengthy. Pictures of the costume being worn, as well as costume parts requested. The first completed costume is not always the CRL model. Sometimes multiple applicants images are used to complete a CRL. Images should be captured against a simple, contrasting background, at high resolution, with good lighting. The Detachment and/or LMO may ask for assistance in writing the text of the CRL, but this is not always the case. Before any CRL goes live, it will be reviewed, edited, and approved by the LMO Team. Once approved, the new costume will be added to the membership database, and the CRL published on the wiki (Databank).1 point

There needs to be a CRL first, but if you're there one that we base the CRL on (a.k.a the first approvable costume) then the CRL would first be created and once it is, you send your images to your GML as usual1 point

Welcome aboard Alvaro! Cpt Enoch is slowly proving to be a more and more popular costume, which is great to see. As the guys have already stated, definitely check out the work in progress CRL and other build threads here on FISD. This is a costume of great detail, so if ever in doubt, ask plenty of questions. We are looking forward to seeing your progress so please do start a build thread once under way.1 point

Hello and welcome, if already a 501st member you can request higher access here Draft of the CRL is here The CRL has not been published yet, needs a final go over with the text and waiting on a model and all the photos required for the CRL. You will know when it is published as the detachment and legion post it on facebook, it will also be posted here on the forum in announcements and in the monthly newsletter.1 point

I know this topic is from a few years ago, but I'm doing Phasma this year for my Halloween costume, and maybe this will help out with the next person who does it. When drawing the arc at the bottom of the cape (in the original dimensions), you'll be drawing a portion of a circle with a radius of about 175 cm, with the center 51 cm down on the left side of the leftmost piece, which is what that mark on the diagram is for (I didn't realize that until I had worked it out manually, lol). The build looks amazing, Brit, and thank you, this thread has helped me out a ton in making my own build. I'm not going for certification yet, but I aspire to it at some point. Thanks again, Brian.1 point
