Okay! So Comic Con Stockholm Winter 2024 happened, and boy was it awesome! I got to meet up with the fellow Garrison mates and Squad mates and Fire Team mates and fellow FISD staff too! I've had talks with the troopers in my Fire team for some time, telling them that I've wanted to up our game when it comes to the marching in parades. @Tall_Trooper has a signature banner that I really got inspired by, so I gathered all the TKs aside after the morning meetings to go through how to turn and how to walk in the parades (with holstered weapons) - but then came @Locitus (in his Officer uniform) and had a marching session with us! It was really the thing that we all needed to take it that one step further of becoming the Stormtroopers we see on screen! (of course it can and will have to be fine tuned more, bit it's a start!!) This Comic Con I also used my space pack, for the first time since implementing my new strapping system! It sits great right now, but I don't like not being able to put it on by myself, so I'll continue working on that in the future! We start the days off by patrolling the queues! That's always really fun since people usually are super excited in the morning queues! A pic from the first photo booth session of the weekend! The line up looked like this after one of the parades! We were quite a few, nothing compared to some of the events in the U.S. but for us this a great turnout! This was before our march training session, don't have a picture yet of the "after"! I can't find the hotel room I'm looking for... But something that I had been looking for that I was able to find was the FISD Beret flash! Now I've got two! Don't ask me how! A pic of me and @Lafleur who had his first con experience this weekend! So happy for him, and he is a great addition to our Fire team Scary Looking Nerd Herders! Been helping him with 501st approval and EIB submission photos, we're aiming for Centurion! We have a really fun thing which is the "Statue corner", where we can stand up on a little platform and stay completely still, and then people can scan a QR code to read more about the costume, and when they do - or when they stand close to you and take a picture, you can scare them a little bit! Everyone, meet my sister from another mister, Jenny "Storm" TK-94012! She usually features on "Cantina's New Hope" on YouTube! They had a 1:1 scale X-wing cockpit that I got inside of (having flewn by myself for the first time in a real aircraft lately I was inclined to jump in to see what technology the rebels had to work with) and by instinct started shooting at the rebel medical frigates! (@TheSwede didn't see this so he suggested that I should be relieved of my staff and attaché positions ) I came back later in my Space Pack to point it out for my fellow gunners to take care of! And with this, let the Spacetrooper montage begin: They also had a 1:1 scale Falcon cockpit! Naturally, I pointed this out as well! Side note: @Coil looked awesome inside the Falcon! Anyways, here's the droid... Here is me pointing out that this is our member @SwedishTX who is working on his Captain Enoch! It's rumored that our Emperor has a TK armor on the way! Boss forgot his helmet! He had something right... there! I'm pointing out the charity of our choice, the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund - to which we have helped over all the years to collect over 2.500.000 SEK, a total we reached at this year's Comic Con! A stinky little green thing! Gonk! Do you have a license for that thing? Showing the kids where to aim at our Blast a Trooper booth! That's all for now! Take care everyone!

69. 2024-10-19, Fotografiska Museet (The Contemporary Museum), Stockholm (Hero) The 69th troop was at the Contemporary Museum in Stockholm, our lovely capital (where I also live)! This was an awesome exhibition with the obvious theme: Space! The staff was so nice and welcoming towards us, and besides them just being awesome people, I think much of it also has to do with the fact that these people don't go to the conventions, so they aren't the usual people that we get to meet! @Coil Lining up outside to greet the visitors! A very funny thing happened! Me and @Lafleur Daniel (TK-20928) were standing on each side of the entrance, and a group of Japanese women came up to us to take pictures. We didn't talk at all and were just doing gestures, and when one of them said thank you after having their picture taken, I answered with: "Thank you!" through my com system, and she suddenly stopped in her tracks, blushed and said "Your voice is very sexy!"... and ran away! @Lafleur and @TK 17229 (Daniel had his first ever TK troop today! Congratulations buddy! ) The obligatory selfie! Tried some DJ-ing too at the end of the troop, when we were patrolling through the restaurant floor! We also took some Halloween images! Braiiinnnnns... Happy Halloween, when that comes, and if you celebrate it! (I don't really!)

68. 2024-10-12, AvestaCon 2024, Avesta (Hero) My 68th troop was at the place I did my first ever troop, almost two years ago. This event two years ago was the 15th of October, and in this time I've completed 68 troops! I didn't know that I would troop this much when I first started out, but I've made so many beautiful friends and memories and seen so much stuff thanks to this crazy hobby! We enterrogated this guy!

i used a sponge to apply the glue, maybe i was to heavy on my hand i must try a makeup brush or a very fine fan brush

How smooth was your shoulder sanded before? Looking good though so far! Nice work overall and the helmet is looking really cool!

Depends how you applied the glue too, I was thinking of using a spray glue so there is a flat base and then a very soft round brush to dab the surface and not brush, perhaps a makeup brush.

Hello there! done some work on Enoch and i have forgot to update here :S only thing i have problem with when i glue golden leaf is there is brush strokes, even when i use a sponge ( see shoulder ) any suggestions for something better ?

Greetings from a future member in-process. I purchased a set of WTF ANH armor from its previous owner and will be joining a build party in two weeks. Did a test fit a couple days ago and lost my freakin' mind when I looked in the mirror. 7 year-old me thought it was the coolest thing ever! I've read a lot of good advice in the forums over the past few months and made specific purchases to make my trooping easier. A little about me personally. I'm an AEMT and work in the ER in Sacramento. Been a volunteer in Search and Rescue for 14 years and studied martial arts for 30 years. Looking forward to taking orders from Vader...

I had fun too getting to know I have a problem with left and right 🤣 but it was hard as the pace of the walk always changed, just as you thought you got a hang of it then it usually slowed down… Anyways super nice meeting you @Locitus and thanks for making @Nairys marching ideas a reality, you made his weekend 😄

2+3/11/2024 - FACTS Convention, Gent - Belgium. Hello ! This was my frist troop in my anh stunt tk last weekend at a convention. Troop went great, only small fixes needed but was pretty comfortable in the event (I'm the most right trooper btw haha) I give permission for FISD to repost my photos on social media in an appropriate fashion.

More photos would help. Also bigger resolution as the one you supplied can not be blown up to see any details. EIB photo guidelines PHOTO GUIDELINES Photo size- At least 800 X 600 (preferably 1280 X 960) Also use the correct background, your GWL will thank you for it. Adding images via a free host is also preferable like Imgur Adding elastic to the top of the boots to inside the shins will help keep the shins down, especially when moving. Good luck with approval

65. 2024-10-04, Star Wars Outlaws release party, Malmö (Hero, with DLT-19) Just received pro shot images from the Outlaws release party! If I could ever enter a Hall of Fame, I'd choose one of these images! Lets begin! "Out of my way!" - TK 23592 Yes, there is a person in there! The bar looked like this! I got to inspect the creature... We were stationed to ensure that the "best cosplay" competition remained calm and proceeded in an orderly fashion. The winner was the Jawa. The sign leading into the Cantina. This is how the Cantina looked when it turned into a night club! Incredible. Honor. Duty. Empire. Found our lovely FISD member Acke, who worked on the game as a Senior Quest designer.
