Mision 25 05/10/2024 - ALCORCÓN (MAD) - ASOCIACION SOMOS GALGOS

Northern Colorado Down syndrome Walk It's the second time I've done this one. Fun group and event. Nice venue by a lake. I intentionally didn't bring my blaster to today's events. I still don't know what to do with my hands if I am not carrying my blaster. So the belt grab it is. Had some fun with our Mandos (of which there were a lot in attendance due to Mercs Con) Trying to get some sun on Niamos and get harassed by two ungrateful rogues. If I would have had my blaster they would not have had so much fun. Galeton Elemenary Fall Festival The smallest town I've ever been in (and I grew up in Iowa) but teachers and parent with big hearts made a special event for the younglings. I went with my OTTK for the day since Vader was in attendance. Always a classic.

One of our veteran Garrison members, Ian MacPherson met with Simon Pegg at the event and presented him with both our ISG patches.

I am completing the 3D design for the riot shield and baton and wanted to share reference pictures and have discussion/ agreement on those images I used, prior to moving to print. Hot toys reference pictures are useful for the baton, but there is enough pictures of the shield to complete the reference without using hot toys images. - Probably just like FOTK, shield and baton go together, no jetpack or rifle when having those. Shield: - Shield is similar to FOTK riot shield but somehow different. The IAC are also wearing them hanged on their back top anchor points, but unclear how they attached those. I'll try to find a way to have anchor points on the shield, but at the same time, there is nothing visible on the inside of the shield that suggest features to attach it to the back anchors. - It is clearly only hanged by the top anchors as we can see the shield pivot and swing on their back when the IAC are fighting with mando - Shield has a handle and a strap on the inside. - The 4 pointed greeblies are clearly defined in the reference pictures and different from the hot toys that seems simplified in multiple places. Baton - There is limited images, mostly blurred in the movie reference. On the hot toys, there are way more details and seem to correlate to blurr images. - the details of the inside of the tip section is only partially referenced, best guess design from there !

TROOP #9 - Commemorative Air Force Aviation Discovery Fest 10/05/2024 So close to Troop 10! This one was really fun. We all know the Ven Diagram between Star Wars fans and WW2 buffs is practically a circle, and I'm right in the middle of it! It was really fun to not only be trooping, but also see real warbirds taking off, landing, flying overheard, and there was so many other cool vehicles and exhibits. Also got to troop with my buddy TK-54832 which is always a treat! Two TKs are better than one! (wish they had told me to bend down a bit, I'm covering the words!) Comparing Blasters Think i'd make a pretty good Tank Trooper

Looking forward to getting out to more of these. Longest I've been in my armor yet (6 hours) and no armor bite to report! See you out there!

Troop #67 Comic Con Scotland Edinburgh day1 Collecting donations for Macmillan Cancer charity. Busy day on the floor with ISG and rebel legion lottsa high fives and photo opportunities. We also had the pleasure of trooping with a guest from the Swedish Garrison. Back to the action tomorrow for day 2.

Really would depend on how the armor was made, raised cod area centered or offset, most makes of armor appear to have the raised area of the cod offset to the abdomen (like screen references), but some are centered like my ATA Screen used raised cod ridge offset Some align the belt to the center of the the abdomen, some align the belt to the center of the raised cod ridge (under ab plate ridges) the later being more screen accurate EIB examples of different makes of armor Offset raised cod area RS Anovos MTK TM Centered raised area cod AM ATA AP WTF RWA Most also having their belt centered to the large ab plate. If your armor has the offset raised cod area then you could definitely make it absolute screen accurate, but if you have the centered raised cod area you are stuck, you can't bring it over as it would interfere with your thigh gap.
