  1. The speaker in the abdomen is a great Idea! I might use that. The costume is all completed and everything is fitting great. I got approved a few days ago and am now officially a member of the Dune Sea Garrison!

  3. Really would depend on how the armor was made, raised cod area centered or offset, most makes of armor appear to have the raised area of the cod offset to the abdomen (like screen references), but some are centered like my ATA Screen used raised cod ridge offset Some align the belt to the center of the the abdomen, some align the belt to the center of the raised cod ridge (under ab plate ridges) the later being more screen accurate EIB examples of different makes of armor Offset raised cod area RS Anovos MTK TM Centered raised area cod AM ATA AP WTF RWA Most also having their belt centered to the large ab plate. If your armor has the offset raised cod area then you could definitely make it absolute screen accurate, but if you have the centered raised cod area you are stuck, you can't bring it over as it would interfere with your thigh gap.

  5. I just wanted to thank you guys for pushing this out the door! So many of us have or will have very similar costumes ready, so the changing of words to allow for basic approval, really helps. Thanks! Hopefully we will get a model soon!

  6. I've updated both the belt and the skirt sections. If anyone has any comments let me know.

  7. I really have no memory of that, and honestly I think it's wrong as well. Looks like it's closed (as in the fastener or buckle) at the front. I am going to claim it as a typo 🫠 I think the best route is to simply remove that line and let people use reference so it looks correct and not worry about forcing it any specific way. Regarding the skirt, I've not had a chance to go back and watch yet due to work and other issues taking my time. Perhaps the simplest solution is to amend the wording to remove the word "fabric". Then if some one has made one in either fabric or leather so far they are going to be able to get cleared. Looking at the images there just is not enough detail right now to make a 100% decision. The motion might help but even then we don't 100% know and might not ever unless this ends up on a stand at Celebration or similar. We can always add it later as a level 2/3 requirement once we know for sure.

  8. Okay, then it was just bad reading of mine. As far as I was able to tell it's closed at the front with some kind of buckle as there are holes on the belt (as for example the tie or officer belts from the original trilogy), only wrapped in leather.

  9. Okay so the thighs are trimmed and re glued. It looks like the fitment is MUCH better!

  10. Hi troopers, I recently recorded a little video talking about OT TK coverstrips and approximately how long they should be in comparison to the armour / armor. Of course, this is just my opinion and, as always, each suit in ANH/ESB was hand made so there will be variations. However, my thoughts are supported by reference photos. Hope this is helpful. :-) Dan / CableGuy
