Here we go, first pictures just came in: As I always said, the weathering is spot-on in my eyes, all in all it's a matter of lighting and a good person behind the camera. I am 100% pleased with what came out of this built. There are minor changes I but nothing big. The changes I want to do: Extending the gloves so they don't slot put this easily. Rubber band on the undershirt so I can fix it to my hand and save myself from constantly pulling it up. Giving the shoes to a shoemaker to get a thinner shaft because it's quite tight with the shin armor Some more push buttons to prevent slipping of some parts while moving. Weathering the shores (totally forgot that, my bad) 🤣 Blaster handles. Neck seal (I used another one as I the other one slipped out too often)

Hi, back from vacation! Here are the pics of the red lights in low ambient light conditions. The LED lights do interfere with the CCD camera sensors and the pictures are not representative of what the eye sees. In real, the lights are a pure RED (I used red LEDs for all lights except the jetpack for which I used a diffuse white LED and in front on them, I used red tinted clear plastic so that it still looks red if powered off, thus the only light emitted is red ), there is not yellow/white tint as the pictures tends to show when the CCD gets saturated. I tried my best to take a couple of light conditions with reflections that show how bright they are. They are clearly visible in daylight. N.B., the chest light is not mentioned in the CRL, but it should be included in the level 3 reference. Overall pictures of all the lights together. Zoom in on each component

Alright guys, found the perfect shoes at the world famous Oktoberfest the other day! just kidding of corse, big thanks to my friend @Action Jackson for handing me over his spare pair of FO-TK boots Also, have a good look on our sweet SESQ-Merchandise (the lederhosn 😁) designed by the fantastic @Laubi I tried my very best to get all I gathered on knowledge of the costume into the CRL thread. All I was able to collect was based all on the screenshots we made ourself or screen caps (but they only have one picture per second, first world problems...). I never ment I am using the Hot toys figure as my reference, but in my eyes it was kind of good to see they also interpreted it the same way I did, as they surely had better pictures or the costume itself to work with. Badly I haven't got he luck to know the production team, so all I collected was from the various sources seen above. Maybe it would also be an option to leave suggestions in terms of material choice out, as long as it has the matching look it has the matching look. What about setting the material choices free to go on lvl 1 and the suggested materials from lvl 2 or higher? I mean gold leaving and cracks are lvl 3, in my eyes painted on gold color destroys the look so much more than the choice of the material as long as it goes with the look also I recolored the gloves as just matting it down didn't quite please me, mixed it to be as close to the kama as possible to keep the overall look the shinier undried part is the mixed color, just need to make good pics of it Also it was quite a struggle to get all details of the gloves and hide the remaining stitches, but as long as you are not looking with a microskope it will stand its look. Don't worry, this is the old color last but not least for now present the probably ugliest undersuit trouser I have ever seen...Its a pair of XXL sweater arms sewn onto a leggins 😁 not pretty like that, not pretty worn...but as soon as hard parts go on it's perfect! (I know the color looks off, thats the lightening of the shop together with my camera) Tonight we'll keep on with the belt, prepare for minor corrections in the pending CRL here as well from me 🤐

Thank you! [74] 07.09.2024 -- Annotopia Rotenburg an der Fulda, Saturday Two months without trooping?! Good to be back in white plastic after that break! Exactly three years after my approval as a 501st Stormtrooper I got to troop an event that's, well, it's basically my first ever troop, but at a different location. Crazy coincidence! With the help of CC-75367 and TK-19525 this was made possible, so thank you both! The weekend turned into a very hot experience, so we weren't out and about too much, rather seeking out our cooled changing room and water bottles. After I'd already gotten a sunstroke only a few weeks earlier I still hadn't recovered fully and a relapse wouldn't be welcomed. Although StarWars isn't a main focus of the event in any way, shape or form, the visitors loved interacting with both us, as well as the local clubs that were there. Especially whilst escorting Han Solo around the premises we gained a lot of attention -- and even had some escape attempts when his fellow Rebels spotted our prisoner. [75] 08.09.2024 -- Annotopia Rotenburg an der Fulda, Sunday Starting the day off strong, we immediately headed to the playground after the parade to have some fun fooling around, taking pictures and videos. For someone who'd claimed on Saturday morning that it was impossible for him to sit in his armor, TK-19525 adapted quickly and joined us in all sorts of shenanigans -- everything from the swings to a sand ceremony with our Tusken got explored and enjoyed. With better temperatures on Sunday we walked around a lot more, found a second playground and explored other costuming groups and their booths. The Annotopia is great in that it had just about everything: post-apocalyptic role play, zombies, orcs, trolls, superheroes... whatever you could think of that is fun, interactive and in character, it is there and it fits there. I became a zombie myself during our exploration, but luckily there were experts there who could help out. A bit of a random part of the event was where they'd organized a Wolverine/Hugh Jackman double to perform various songs on stage. But as confused as we'd originally been, the double was really, really close to what I've seen of Hugh Jackman so far and I very much regret not getting a better picture of him than the vastly zoomed in one I took of him on the stage. All in all a pretty fun weekend with some fantastic company! And given that it was my first weekend since finishing exams, I couldn't help but really really enjoy every minute of it. Note to self: two months is too long a time to go without trooping. [76] 14.09.2024 -- TimeWarp Braunschweig, Day 1 Why have one trooping weekend, if you could have two? Welcome to the day that I mostly spent behind the camera! The TimeWarp retro convention was held for the first time ever with a handful of vendors, a few star guests and a small, but steady stream of visitors gracing it's halls. We started off by touring around the area and spending a bit of money (I got a 1960's Batman comic!) on various merchandise. Having seen everything and with it being CX-37202's first troop in his Tech, we decided to show off this masterpiece. He'd spent two years bringing that armor to a seldom seen perfection, including working gadgets and lots and lots of electronics. With there being lots of space in our changing area it was the perfect opportunity to take different types of pictures -- everything from the Clone Bar on Coruscant to action scenes in Imperial facilities to dramatic chip removals from other Clones. I probably should've switched my phone to a professional camera and my armor into clothes with actual mobility at some point of this spontaneous photoshooting, but neither did any of us have a camera with us, nor did I think of changing. Oh well, we still got some incredible pictures out of it! And after the troop (and, yes, some more public appearances outside of the changing room as well) (and an armor switch, because I actually really love wearing Clone armor) we'd all gone for a nice joined meal, beat, but ready for Day 2. [77] 15.09.2024 -- TimeWarp Braunschweig, Day 2 Day 2 started off better than day 1, with us fooling around with the crew and with Deadpool and all the other cosplayers, instead of sticking mostly to our own as we'd done the previous day. There still wasn't too much foottraffic -- and they'd have deserved lots more visitors, cause it's a really cool convention -- but the people who were there enjoyed our shenanigans as much as we did ourselves. As a joke TK-71384 suggested that we should join the world championship happening at the convention (it was about cassette tape, so it would've been a pretty harmless joke, if a televised one). What started as a joke ended with our Sandtrooper as the new world champion, our pilot in third place and TK-19525 in second place! Congratulations! Now, that deserves FISD kudos! It's not every day that one of our own wins a world championship, and in full armor no less. What started as a fantastic day suddenly turned into one of my most depressing moments in armor in a matter of seconds. I'd been posing on this horse as a kid started up the mechanism, making me loose my hold and get an irreparable crack in my codpiece. My armor is pretty old and has been through a lot over these past few years, so I'm going to have to get myself new armor soon. Lucky for me, with some emergency repairs and lots of helpful advice from my fellow troopers, the armor should hold up for a couple more troops, I'll just have to be more careful. Maybe I should leave the horseriding to Deadpool in the future, he seems to be more of a natural in it. That heartbreak aside it was a really cool troop and I very much hope that they'll do another one of these next year! TK-66744 signing off

(well, we were waiting for it ) As Caleb rightly pointed, we'll need you to add all the images again, ( for the records), by the other hand, for those L3 illuminated parts as gauntlets, chest, jetpack etc. we'll need you to take a moment to take the photos in a darker place so you can see those lights in action. [11] 29/04/2022 -- "Star Wars in Concert : RotJ" Oberhausen Just over fourty members of the German Garrison trooped for the Star Wars in Concert in Oberhausen. Having met up in the afternoon, everyone was ready and in costume by evening and got to spend the next fourty minutes or so goofing around as we waited for the visitors to be allowed to enter. We were available for pictures (no chance to walk even a few steps without being stopped for photos, it was amazing) and for fun interactions with the visitors. Not only that, but we also got to walk up the orchestra two times -- once before the beginning of the concert and once after the concert -- so people could take pictures with and of us not only during the break and before the concert, but also in front of the stage with all troopers assembled. In between that we got seperated cubicles where we could stand and watch the movie. A huge thank you to the people in the lounge right next to ST-72603 and I for the constant popcorn and soda supply! Having started the troop by walking up five flights of stairs in the wrong direction, we prefered to use the elevator afterwards to move us from the changing area to the main floor and back down for the wait backstage as the second Death Star exploded and we were about to appear in front of the audience one last time. All in all it was a very cool evening with amazing guests and very fun troopers. Special shout-out to our trooper with the camera: TX-75555! Also a huge thank you to his girlfriend. [10] 10/04/2022 -- Sound of Hans Zimmer and John Williams Dortmund Going for my fourth concert troop, I once more got to enjoy an amazing first half with my fellow troopers, changed into armor and then waited for half an eternity for our cue to enter the stage once more. This time there were few to no silly pictures and instead we got a pretty cool group picture -- although getting all of us up the stairs was a bit of a challenge, so Vader, the Emporer and their guards took the elevator. After I got warned that I should not pull any crazy stunts like... I don't know, running up the stairs or dancing too much, the Emporer and I took the opportunity to dance a little to the echoing music in the waiting area before once more entering the stage to the awed faced of the audience. My favourite moment of the troop came afterwards whilst taking pictures with the visitors, as an old lady came up to me and a fellow TK, asked us if she could take a picture with us, before condifing that this was a dream of hers come true. Always two there are, no more, no less. That being said, here's busy weekend number two. [9] 08/04/2022 -- Sound of Hans Zimmer and John Williams Düsseldorf Once more we got to give this concert an imperial touch by appearing at the Sound of Hans Zimmer and John Williams Concert, this time in Düsseldorf. Travelling together with TK-71384, we joined the German White Shadows for a showing of the first concert half, before using the break and second half to change into our costumes and take silly pictures together. Upon entering the stage, our TKs had a short problem with direction, startling a few laughs out of concert goers, when some had to go back and walk a different route. After the concert we got to take pictures with the visitors, which, after the slight TK mishap earlier, turned into a lot more silly positions and bunny ears than expected from a concert. Ending the troop with a group picture and a race up the stairs to the changing room between me and TX-75555 (I won and I'm not too sure if I ever want to sprint up three flights of stairs in armor ever again), TK-71384 and I finally arrived back at my place at about two am. No photo from our race up the stairs, sadly. I'm starting to think that the best things are never captured on camera, so I'll have to add it to the list of "only eye-witnesses will ever believe it happened" right underneath laying down in armor TK-66744 signing off

[7]Power of the Force Cologne Saturday Starting the day off strong with an imperial welcome, the halls filled up very quickly. With an overwhelming Mandalorian presence due to Emily Swallow as a guest star, our Imperial Forces did their best to promote peace, justice, freedom and security for the convention. We escorted guest stars, arrested rebels and patrolled the grounds. Having constructed the Throne Room the previous afternoon, we took turns guarding it and letting people take pictures on it, whilst simultaneously keeping watch over the con. It was also an opportunity to meet, re-meet and make many friends and provided us with an opportunity to take a very special picture of the (to my knowledge) currently youngest members of the German Garrison (me), Dutch Garrison (TI-75208) and Swiss Garrison (ID-19551). picture to follow as soon as we can find it [8]Power of the Force Cologne Sunday On Sunday, there were fewer visitors, but not less of an imperial presence. We managed to (almost) arrest a clone defector, took over the Throne Room, got caught by His Imperial Majesty and after miraculously being let go, we returned to patrolling the grounds. Our Captain ID-56347 helped us document our activities by not only leading our patrol to our escorts, but by taking holopictures of our activities.
