What a great time today! [10] 9/21/24 Hope Church Fall festival for special needs children. It warms my heart to see these kids smile. @Nairy I made double-sure I had my shins on the right leg! Stuff like this makes my heart smile! It's been a minute since we've had a Merc with us! I was able to pass out propaganda Even got to show my skills at hitting a target. This was throw number 3 you can see the other throws on the ground. I missed everytime! Vader was upset at our performance on the axe throw, so he sent us to Latrine duty. Boy I had to go! All kidding aside, I love making these children smile!4 points

I’m actually following that picture for the strapping. And a few other tips. It’s just so much and a lot of different ideas of doing the same. Somehow need to find the right way for me 🙂2 points

Hi, im Melisa. Per the course this is me taking a small project and going WAY overboard. I have been in the furry fandom for some 20+ years and have a bit of experience making costumes. Thiers quite a few conventions here in the SA area so i have started a storm trooper build. Im an electrical engineer by trade so if any one needs help with projects... throw me a message.1 point

Thanks for pointing that out! Easy fix for me as I have some slotted screws hanging around. I will go ahead and glue the top abs part to the tube as well.1 point

That will be them With your TD screws for L2 and above they should be slotted not Phillips For Level 2: 1. Clips shall be attached with slotted type flat or dome-head screws, and be black (two per clip). V-head or Philips screws are not permitted. Nice work on the spacing1 point

Thanks to both of you, especially for being that fast and sorry for taking so long to answer. Yea I figured that my painting skills don't meet level 2 standards I'll have a friend fix that for me, otherwise it will again look like a three year old painted it. That might take some time tho. Here's the missing pictures, except the action shot. That will follow once the helmet paintings are fixed. Hope thats all (except the action shot) Thank you for your effords1 point

As we wrote in DMs, I think these lines should be good! Try it out with the belt tightened too perhaps so that you know for sure that it looks good even when the belt is tight! It's one thing when it's on the table of course and one thing when the belt is tight!1 point

Hello and welcome, there are a few quality/detail issues with SDS (Shepperton Design Studios aka originalstormtrooper.com), this thread may help you, @Helotech put in a lot of rework on his SDS kit, most mentioned in his pre approval thread Also his build thread Another SDS pre approval Just takes a bit of work to get them to an approvable costume but I'm sure with garrison help you will do just fine. Good luck and any questions please let us know1 point

Hi Florian, and thank you for your EIB submission. It has been added to the processing line. Your armor looks great and is refreshing to see an RS prop masters armor with such details. As Glen rightly pointed, there are some missing photos that we need you to add to your application according to the checklist link provided. By the other hand, we'll need you to make an additional effort so we can place that EIB badge under your name and it's the rear traps and tears paint job. As you can see in the references, the lines can be refined and try to emulate de location ,quantity , size and thickness. Reference Images Reference Images As an example, your side traps border lines look great. We'll be ready when you're ready trooper.1 point

[9] DreamNight at the Memphis zoo. Dreamnight is an international event that invites children with special health care needs and disabilities along with their families to spend a cost free evening at their local zoo or aquarium I was escorted by the Boss's daughter. The kids loved it. It's was so humid and hot. In fact, it is the hottest most sweatiest I've ever been in my TK! I was excited to be inside for a minute With all of the rain we've had here for the past week, we weren't really sure how we were going to get back to the cars with water this deep! Made my heart smile see these kids look at us with awe! Also, I love going back and looking at these pictures and realizing a v-tab is showing or belt not quite right, or in this case SHINS OPENING!1 point

[8] Memphis Parkway Village Library community outreach I had a blast at this one! We were a hit with the kids as usual. And the adults Our Squad leader got asked if he was Vader Figured I would spend some time trying to get rid of my southern drawl And I found a furious animal to take on patrols with me! Them rebels better watch it!1 point

[7] 6/22/24 Memphis Cherokee Library Explore Mempnest community outreach. The snake was way into me. I'm thinking because I was really warm in the armor. I found so much info on how to Find a Jedi! I tried to thumb a ride to the nearest cooling station but it didn't pan out. I had a heated game of Connect Four! Finally! I got to get a photo with McGruff the crime dog!1 point

Haha, love the image at the top! My plan is to implement the same conversion in the future, and it looks like you have your task list ready to go. The only thing I'll add is that you may be able to get away with using the same holster and simply replace the tan straps with the black loops. I acquired black straps from my holster maker for the easy swap out with chicago screws. Looking forward to following your completion of this next project!1 point
