44. 2024-02-17, Swedish Air Force Museum, Linköping (Hero, with DLT-19) My dream troop! Unifying my two largest interests, flying and Star Wars! The Swedish Air Force Museum in Linköping is in my opinion the best museum in Sweden, and I've always gone there when growing up, but the last few years when travelling the 6 hours from central Sweden (Stockholm) to southern Sweden (Helsingborg) where my family lives, we haven't been able to stop by because they have been closed on the days we've travelled. Needless to say, I was very excited about this troop! I really wanted to try out the flight simulators they had there but couldn't fit in my TK, unfortunately! With me taking a private pilots license and having my first solo flight coming up, that would have been nice to do! (haven't gotten to fly all winter so I'm rusty) I did however manage to sit down for the first time ever! L4 complete! It was also my first time rocking the DLT-19 If you've ever played War Thunder and the Swedish tree, you'll recognise many of the aircraft I'm showing! Below is the only existing B18 in the world. Probably my third favorite aircraft. Quick coffee break with Anakin Skywalker In front of the imported British Vampire Looks like a real life docking bay 327 control room! The J35 Draken (my second favorite aircraft) J37 Viggen (my favorite aircraft)3 points

Note other lots in the auction may close on Wednesday, March 13th or Thursday, March 14th. An Imperial stormtrooper helmet from Richard Marquand's Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Imperial stormtroopers wore their standard-issue helmets throughout the film as they served the Galactic Empire, notably during the climactic Battle of Endor. Stormtroopers now rank among the most recognizable movie characters of all time. It is estimated that only around 50 helmets were produced for Return of the Jedi, with slight modifications and a somewhat more flattened appearance than the designs seen in the previous two films. All elements on the helmet are original and unaltered. The main body of the helmet is constructed from vacuum-formed ABS plastic. Several striped decals are applied to the helmet's cheeks and temple. The chin and mouth vent are finished in black paint, and a black rubber trim runs along the brow and around the neck opening. The eyes are green acrylic. The helmet's interior features an elastic chinstrap and a plastic headband with foam applied for comfort. "Alan H" is handwritten in blue ink in the interior. This could be Alan Harris, who was an uncredited stormtrooper in Jedi and had small, uncredited roles in both A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. The helmet interior also features a piece of paper taped to the dome, upon which the Yuma, Arizona, address for the "Blue Harvest" production offices is printed. "Blue Harvest" was the film's working title and was chosen to hide the fact that the third Star Wars movie was filming from fans and locals while on location. Yuma served as the location for the scenes at the Great Pit of Carkoon - scenes which do not feature stormtroopers. This is one of the best examples of a stormtrooper helmet in private hands. The helmet exhibits yellowing both inside and outside, and the chinstrap has frayed due to age. There exhibit scuffs, scratches, and paint wear on the exterior of the helmet, and one of the faux microphones on the front is missing its wire mesh. Estimate: $150,000 - 300,0001 point

Hi Kevin, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. 1. You moved the tube stripes in perfectly, but it appears you have placed them on the wrong side and as a result, they are leaning towards the back and not the front. CRL L2 : Fall of tube stripe tops ideally lean toward the front. Reference 2. The alignment of the screws securing the ear pieces does not follow the line of the traps. As we have explained in other occasions, we will only require it for Centurion, when the helmet looks "weird", which is not your case and if you choose not to correct this it likely would not prevent your centurion approval. CRL L3: Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them. References 3. Your Helmet is sitting a bit too high on your head. Ideally, the bottom of the helmet should sit just above the shoulders. This is fairly easily corrected by removing some of the padding on the top of the helmet. This will give a much better overall appearance to your costume and often will improve your vision. References 4. In order to avoid some "armour bite" when walking, we could suggest some additional trimming to the back section of the thigh and this could allow lift a little the lower section of the rear armour. References *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. 1. The LEFT side ear location and brow trim cut are perfect but the Right side needs to be corrected for L3 accuracy CRL: The helmet is accurate in detail and proportion to official references Reference 2. The rank bar on your helmet is a little bit thin. to be more screen accurate, it will need to be widened slightly. References This should just take a bit of black paint in the areas outlined below 3. The left lower ear screw is sitting ion an angle and should be flush with the helmet. CRL L3: Ear screws shall be slotted, flat topped, countersunk and painted white. Reference 4. You will need to add some white elastic to secure the shoulder straps in the back. CRL L3: The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. Reference On closer review, I can see the strapping on the image below. Just make sure to remember to put it around the shoulder bridge when dressing. 5. You still have some return edge on the wrist side of your forearms. This will need to be trimmed or sanded to remove all return edge. CRL L3: No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. Reference 6. The belt position should be a little higher (L3). CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. References 7. Your left belt box is slightly out of position. This is likely a dressing issue and you just need to ensure that it lines up properly when kitting up. A small dab of E6000 can be used to secure the strap for the box the inside of the belt. CRL L3: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Right side is perfect Left side needs to move back slightly Reference1 point

Personally I like a sharp transition from square to round ( less curve) but what you have is acceptable all the way to L31 point

Going by just these pictures, it looks like the kama is only two pieces, left and right. The left sits over the right, and is pleated/folded once from the waistline to the hip joint.1 point

2024-02-17, Air Force Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program A fun event. The hardest part was standing around waiting for photographs while people are eating good-smelling food. Cool to see a rare Von Reg kit. I was wishing I had brought my FOTK, but having Vader it always looks great to have the OTTK presence and I was the only one there, which is very unusual. I don't sign many autographs. I always have to channel my inner-Disney character cast-member skills to figure out how to write "a name" with my gloves on. My handwriting is bad enough as it is. But I had include the photo of Vader signing autographs. I find I am sporting a blaster less and less these days. If it's a kids-only event I usually leave it in my trunk. It just gets in the way of interacting with kids and looks awkward in photos, in my opinion. If it's a primarily adult event, convention, military or law-enforcement, I'll usually bring it along. Given the name of this event, I didn't realize that we were going to be entertaining two rooms full of kids first, so I eventually holstered it.1 point

I always worry when I see folks spending a lot of time and effort on a PLA print. That material is so delicate and heat-reactive. Please line the inside with fiberglass or some similar treatment to keep the armor from deforming during transport or use.1 point

2024-02-03, BrickFest LIVE Loveland 2024 - Day 1 & 2 Got some great outreach done working the table & costuming this weekend. Many many attendees, great questions and lots of very interested individuals that I hope will join our ranks. Day 2 One of the highlights was this little boy whose dad said they saw us, but I left to go on break before they could get to us to take a pic. In the last 20 min of the day they happened to make their way back in time to get to meet the trooper in White Armor. His dad was as happy as he was.1 point
