  1. #3: 10/01/2023 – Stars of the Galaxy at Gesundbrunnen Center. Berlin / Germany. On October 1st, Echo Nova Squad had another ground operation at Gesundbrunnen Center in Berlin. It was a busy day and we had lots of fun.

  7. Is it confirmed that gold leaf was used specifically in the cracks? I get the larger patches (and Enoch) using gold leaf, but logically I'd assume the cracks are just painted, or filled using something like gold Rub'nBuff? Would the costume team/artists really have gone to the length of gold leafing all the cracks on not one, but multiple sets of armour..? Has anyone done tests on filling dremelled cracks with gold leaf? I can't imagine it being consistent nor easy.

  8. I can remove any attachments you require to give you back that space for something you might have in the future you deem more important. Just let me know and happy to assist.

  9. Nice work. I noticed you are missing the cocking lever, a quick replacement is a thick plastic paint brush, cut to desired length, heat with lighter or stove to give a slight curve, add a screw in the base, cut off head of screw, drill hole in broken lever then screw in cocking lever, you can also add some glue for extra strength. Good luck with approval

  10. WOW...lookin' SHARP, trooper...outstanding job on re-doing this armor to fit! Although not a requirement for Level 2, for Level 3 (which I am SURE you are headed for) I would grab a Dremel or small file and remove he last little bit of return edge from the wrist opening on your forearm.

  11. Personally I feel that the Keep Trooping body suit is as good as it gets. I’ve been trooping in mine all year and the ribs are individually stitched. The Darkside Closet shirt I posted isn’t individually stitched. You can reach out to Mike to see if he is doing them differently now, but he has a long wait list. The other option is Sheev’s Emporium. I haven’t seen Dave list a Stormtrooper specific shirt, but he does a phenomenal job with the stitch work and would probably work with you on it. He also taught me how to do this stitching, but I haven’t made a shirt using the technique yet. I hope this helps.

  12. I miss understood the directions for posting the images directly into the post. I thought they wanted them to be directly loaded to this site. I've been doing the Imgur thing for my personal posts as you know. I just figured they wanted copies for some weird reason directly uploaded to this site. I guess I'm just all excited and overthinking it. Thank you! I appreciate your help again! Time to take care of the images.

  13. You can only add a couple of attachments, many of us use a free online image host IMGUR, upload there then copy the "direct link" option and post into your thread. More info here Don't reduce your images too much or details won't be able to be seen: PHOTO GUIDELINES Photo size- At least 800 X 600 (preferably 1280 X 960) or larger

  14. The traps on the RO helmets are cast in a light/medium grey material, the darker colour here will be down to weathering. The painted chest I would say is darker than 1138, but the weathering makes a start colour hard as it will have changed a lot applying the grot. Looking at the above reference some cracks look to be filled with grime not gold. Though given how dirty they are "both" might be what's going on. Looking at screen grabs less is more. It seems that they have roughly 1 grey component 2 at most. So just a chest, or just the helmet, a some have none. The ones with 2 seem to be a shoulder and something around the same size, like the dome of the helmet. It may be too loose if you go with "follow the reference" but if you set a hard limit of 2 then unless they do a chest and helmet you shouldn't end up too far away. A list of known gray parts or combos might be handy too. 1 Helmet bar tube and ears (https://imgur.com/cm7Y0Jd) 2 Partial (approx 75-80% coverage) of chest plate (above reference) 3 Partial (approx 75-80% coverage) helmet dome + one shoulder bell. (https://imgur.com/9ewDVqd) 4 One shoulder bell (https://imgur.com/9ewDVqd) Not a complete list I am sure but it's a start.

  15. I didn't mention that I almost died as soon as I walked up to the 2023 sign because I got entangled in the support cables that held up the zero. It took three people to get me out of it. They kept telling me to "Move that foot, this way". I kept telling them " What foot? I can't see! Left or right!?!"
