  2. 34. 2023-11-18, Prisceremoni Stadshuset (Award Ceremony Stockholm City Hall), Stockholm (Hero) A very cool award ceremony event at Stockholm City Hall, where they have the Nobel Prize dinner ceremony amongst other things! As a Swede, this was a really cool event, being a TK in such an iconic building! (This first one is for reference, not my own picture) Here my own pictures begin! 5. Hello Klair, and welcome to the FISD! Congratulations on being approved, welcome to the ranks! Make sure to start a build thread in the TFA Build Threads section for your TFA build! There are a lot of build threads already with very good information and documentation to help you along the way, and by sharing your own experience you will in turn help others - as well as getting help from our community if you ever have questions, leading to a beautiful armor! Also make sure to request 501st Trooper status here on the forum, so that you can get full access as well as being eligible for certain merch runs in the future! In the 501st Trooper Status Requests thread below, you will find the instructions on how to do it! (SPOILER ALERT: Once your 501st profile updates with your TK, paste this link in the request thread)

  6. These are quite cheap and make a good base. I did see a 3D outer shell "Star Wars" inspired, which goes over these stands in my travels, I'll have to see if I can track it down again

  7. Hey everyone, I'm Andy (GML) of Garrison Excelsior and (DCA) of the BHG, newly approved with my FO Executioner. A little about me... I love making costumes. The executioner is my 8th approved legion costume. I swore I'd never do a stormtrooper (or any costume I couldn't sit down in lol) but by chance some armor kind of fell into my lap after building the Mando Praetorian Guard and I could have either sold it or built it so I went for it. First outing was this weekend and the troop went well, everything held up fine with no real issues. Only thing was the cod armor really pilled up my pants so I think I'm going to line the edges with EVA to prevent it from chafing through. Mission report coming up!

  11. The paint work was extremely painful. I hated every minute. But it was worth it. You still did more with this build than I did with Sabine.

  12. Greetings all. My name is Tom Tilmon, I was already a member of the Carolina Garrison as DS-74759 TFA Kylo Ren. My ultimate goal was to be a stormtrooper, although, I'm a bit too big to be a TK. I'm 6'3" 240#......so fitting in armor was difficult and required a lot of shimming! I have had this kit for 4 years, traded a MPP Lightsaber for it to a trooper that built an Anovos Kit. Thing sat in the closet in boxes needing trimming and assembly for years. But, I finally got my kit built. I would now love to build another one to Centurion or EIB standards, and turn this one into a TD. But that will have to wait until after my BOBF Mando, Shoretrooper. Both of which are in the works. PS, I also own a lightsaber company called: Megtooth Sith Sabers. i was one of the first to innovate neopixels in lighsabers, as well as using open source electronics, and helped bring about "smoothswing" implementation/testing in open source boards. I built an E-11 with a Proffieboard in it, posted in FISD, didn't get much of a reaction, but I think its pretty cool! At any rate, I'm proud to be a member with you all, and I'm finally living the dream of being a stormtrooper, which I also kind of am in real life......I am the FUZZ. PS: I got to troop my TK with 501st Legion Founder, Albin Johnson (TK-210) in August at Soda City Comicon. Albin is in my Garrison, but it was pretty cool meeting him! Check out this link: Youtube Short with Albin Johnson! Live video of my E-11 in action! Me on the left, this picture I think shows how big I am compared to people. I'm almost as tall as the wookie on stilts! Ha.

  19. Thanks for all the help on my stunt. Went a long way with this one. I’d be happy to do it all again if she still wants it when she's bigger. Plus I’ve kept the offcuts plus a lot of trimmings to make ABS.

  23. Yep! That's the idea! Need to find a good light though. Someone I was talking to before who did something similar in the past got a puck light on Amazon.

  26. 36. The Strong National Museum of Play - In Another Galaxy, 5 November 2023 Our biggest troop of the year, with members of 4 (or was it 5) other Garrisons joining us. I commuted back and forth each day, so I missed the after hours shenanigans, but we all had a lot of fun during the troop too. Group shot for the beginning of Day 2 (Day 1 I wore my Death Watch and Snowie): Day 2 was also the 501st Troops for one of our Tie Pilots and our resident R2, so: Pilots and Droids only! Backstage photobombing: Obligatory Blast-a-Trooper shot: A couple of bonus pictures from Day 1:

  29. 34. Hamilton Comic Con, 24 September 2023 34 troops as a TK, and Troop #50 overall! Between scheduling conflicts and COVID, it's been four years since I got to troop this con, but the wait was worth it. Pictures are going a little out order, but you'll see why. Made a quick trip across the border to the Canadian Warplane Heritage museum, where the con is held. Towards the end of the day, con guest Dmitrious Bistrevsky (who played Darth Vader in Kenobi) stopped by. He had some fun with the Blast-a-Trooper (one-handed, dual-wielding, dual-wielding and joined by the Galactic Academy members ...), got a couple of patches from the Canadian Garrison, and took pictures with us. I don't have a copy of the "normal" group photo, but here's the one he requested: "Okay, everyone on this side is being Force-pushed, and everyone on this side is being Force-choked!" That's me up on my tiptoes being Force-choked He followed this with "You know how Yoda trained Luke to do handstands and use the Force?" So he proceeded to do a handstand, then handstand splits, culminating with: Now the regular con pics: Obligatory Blast-a-Trooper (with good grouping): This individual complimented our mutual color scheme: With a fellow Disney employee: The Canadians have really nice speeder bikes: Group photos inside the de Havilland Canada DHC-5A Buffalo transport plane: TKs only:

  32. 31. Nickel City Comic Con, 30 June 2023 This con is practically in my backyard, but this is the first year that I've attended in any capacity. A picture with a fellow TK, honest: This is TK-71600. He didn't wear white that weekend, just his Groot, Mighty Thor, and a couple of Lego Batmans (Batmen?), but he did stop by to have some fun with us
