25. 2023-10-05, Disney Breakfast Event, Stockholm (Hero) 25th troop!!! I will do 28 in total before my Troop anniversary which is on October 16th! I'll do the same event as I did as my first event but on October 15th, so it will be a nice way to round out my first trooping year! I had 25 troops as a goal but very happy that I'll go past it! This was a breakfast mood enhancer troop for the Disney personnel that works in the Nordics and Baltics! Very fun! The obligatory selfie, a habit I've stolen from @revlimiter4 points

Hey all! Wanted to begin my very first trooping thread! To start: 10/01/23 Madison End Alzheimer’s Walk2 points

Alright! So the last few months have been hectic for me! Got some wedding planning and moved into a new apartment with the fiancé. BUT I did get a moment to make some strapping adjustment prior to a troop yesterday. Got two shots that kinda show how the backpack now rests with tightened internals and some velcro on the back box. @Nairy@gmrhodes13 Given where I have the backplate OII square wedged internally into the pack I don’t think it’s gonna shift much higher unless I trim that itself down. However I got it to cling pretty tightly where it doesn’t droop at an angle or have much gap on the backplate. Thoughts? I know those pics probably aren’t the greatest but it’s what I got at the moment. I also started my first troop log as a TK!2 points

9/30/23 - AFSP Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk 79th TK troop, 34 for the year CREB 5435 - 23rd troop and 8th for the year TK9 Mabel - 4th troop and 3rd for the year This one was a bit more somber of a troop - a walk for suicide prevention. A couple thousand people showed up in memory and support. Mabel, Sabine, and this TK were not gonna miss it. We even made the local news. @elwessbrandon (in the pauldron - he gets some slack for having a shoulder in need of mending) even got a nice interview with them! He did amazing. Sabine and I... And Mabel. Shot by one of my 501st brothers whilst the TV camera was apparently pointed at us. She may be a rebel, but I still love her with all my plastic heart. Mabel doing her stuff with some kids. She is an amazing therapy dog and got many many pats that day. I think she brought as many smiles as the rest of us did. She got lots of belly rub payments. To anyone reading my log who may be struggling or going through some hard times - hit my DM or the FISD Discord. I'm happy to chat and would dearly love to spend some hours doing that than read about your passing sometime later. Life is not easy and the world is bullsh**. But every day we wake up again is another day they haven't beaten us. Don't let them beat you. We're strong together.1 point

I haven't posted in about 10 days. But I have been working on it. Today I completed painting, the strapping and had to move some snaps that I am now waiting on the glue. I need to get some elastic for the hand guards tomorrow. And as long as it all looks ok, and I will post pics. Then I am done with the body. I am redoing part of the helmet as I realize that I made it too small for the electronics. That should be completed by the end of the weekend and then done! Until you all tell me where I messed up. Either way, I am excited to get more boxes check. I got my blaster in and I will need to build that. But I am sure it won't be as long as the trooper costume.1 point

Yes...SANDING. So. Much. Sanding. Everything is sanding. I thought we were making props. This is just sanding in different ways. So, while I'm here....no update. Been WAY TOO BUSY to do anything on this. My overall goal is to be done by February.1 point

Some more information. The character is part of Task Force 99, Seargent Kreel was seen as a specialist so this character is homed under Special Opps, I would think the trooper you are referring to would also go to Spec Ops Sergeant Kreel, designated Agent 5241, was an undercover stormtrooper and SCAR trooper of the Galactic Empire, serving in the 501st Legion under the direct command of Darth Vader. Kreel was given command of an elite group of SCAR troopers, designated Task Force 99 Spec Ops also home Task Force 99: Cav https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:Task_Force_99:_Cav More references of your character "Shrap" (rear trooper in first image) https://comicvine.gamespot.com/shrap/4005-162019/ Someone was building some of these troopers, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1000612581016601 point

Hi Jacob. generally you need 4 references minimum for the potential of a CRL to be considered by the LMO team. Front, back left and right sides. Cartoon and animated series characters can be difficult to replicate the right look so i would also recommend you email the LMO office, let them know what you are interest in creating and even direct them to the post you have here. This character may come under the purview of Spec Ops detachment as well, so check in there in case they have any existing threads or discussion on this character. There does look to be a lot of customization required to pull this off, not a standard TK kit,so 3D printing would be the only way to bring this to life. All the parts look quite different to anything live action.1 point

24. 2023-08-25, Lazer Tag Birthday Party, Stockholm (Hero) Very hectic troop with 10 wild kids interrogating us for 30 minutes straight Loved it though! I'll add some more pics as I receive them, but we got the obligatory after-troop selfie!1 point

And some final pics for this thread. Until I can build my blaster rack, I needed a way to display the DLT. I bought some padded tool U shaped hooks from hardware store, drilled them into conveniently spaced wall studs, and hung the DLT. I now am sourcing a good case for it so I can bring it to troops without raising eye brows in hotel lobbies...1 point

Wow, Dave. Congrats on completing this beautiful blaster. Looking at the surface makes it hard to believe this is a 3D printed kit. Absolutely outstanding. Also seeing the Blast-FX installed to a DLT-19 takes this to another level. Not to mention your paint-jobs. It paid off to go that deep into multi-layer paint and research for weathering. An absolute piece of art. Take good care of it and have a lot of fun when trooping with it.1 point
