Hi Manvi, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. First of all, I would like to congratulate you for the work you have done on your armor, and for the effort you have made to fix everything we requested. Empezando por el casco. -L3. Starting with the helmet. -L3. Ideally placement of the ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the Trap above them. As we have said on other occasions, this issue is present in 90% of the applications, but, it will only be a requirement for centurion level in case the helmet looks very bad... -We noticed that your brow is sitting pretty low. Stunt TK´s trim sits higher, as opposed to Hero, so we are suggesting that you raise it a bit. -Your forearms are a little high. For a better "overall appearance", and to be more accurate, we recommend that you lower them a bit. -The position of the TD is a little high. Its correct position would be at the same height as the belt, so we recommend that you lower it a little. -It looks like there are some glue on one of your gloves. Easy fix, remove that glue carefully so your armor looks great. Reference Images Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Nada que añadir aquí. Nothing to add here. Congratulations Manvi!!! Congratulations Manvi!!! I hope to see your Centurion application very soon! P.S.:Don't forget to request your certificate here.2 points

Excellent submission, with great attention to detail, and quite quickly after your EIB approval! I especially love the tube strip pencil measurement, cover strip alignment on your arms, and the placement of your belt just barely touching the bottom ab button. You've also gone fantastic with drop box alignment at the end of your plastic belt, belt button covers located non-centered and closer to the end of the belt, and clean trimming off of the return edges on the front of your forearms! Just a couple notes before the DOs get here. It's possible they may ask that additional paint be removed from your frown, where a little bit appears to still be on the gums. And, as mentioned in your AI app, your thermal detonator is still riding a little bit high. This should be a quick fix by simply pending your belt clips a bit. The goal should be for the profile of the thermal detonator to fit within the boundary of the belt. See the photo below from Chemi on your EI thread. In case you want any additional screen reference for thermal detonator placement, see my own THREAD HERE. Note that, while some detonators are raised, the vast majority are situated lower. You may also want to add a link to your EI application at the top of this Centurion submission. I'm sure you'll be approved in short order!

It was amazing! Always a very special event for most of us. And, yes, there were a lot of TK's And thank you @BAZINGA, glad to hear that [58] 23.09.2023 -- Family Day at VW Global HQ, Wolfsburg, Day 1 Since this might be my last troop for the next few months I was determined to make the most of it. We entered the factory premises early in the morning after a security check and were shown to our changing room next to the photo studio. Alongside eight troopers from the German Garrison, VW had invited another eight costumers from a local club. To cover the whole area we were split into four groups with different troop times. So as the first group (pictured above) started, we, the second 501st group, got to tour one of the factories out of armor. Afterwards we headed back and got changed into costume an hour early, anticipating a delay in getting to our post due to the crowds outside. As it turned out, we had naively underestimated the crowds. It took us nearly 3.5 hours to get to our post, at which point our 2 hour shift was over and we managed the 600 meters back to the changing room in a record time of 1.5 hours. All along the way we were stopped for pictures, never managing more than a few meters before being crowded again. This was the only picture I managed to take during the troop. Next to me is TK-56347 with whom I trooped the whole day as a group of two (we'd early on found out that as a group of four we would move even slower). After we got back to the changing room we took a couple of pictures in the photostudio. Later that day I found out that there had been about 40000 visitors that day. [59] 24.09.2023 -- Family Day at VW Global HQ, Wolfsburg, Day 2 place holder for group picture Having learned our lesson from the previous day, we started off in private, using the photostudio to its fullest extent. This day we were only five troopers from the 501st, but we were an amazing group to troop with. Then we braved the crowds. This time around we didn't even try to get far from the changing room and instead got to participate in a few of the activities nearby. I got a perfect score in hockey, missed all my shots at the football goal and danced along to the music playing. Of course we also got a picture with the DFB (German Football/Soccer Club) mascot. We went on to taking even more pictures with visitors. One kid even had a Lego StarWars figure with him because he had heard that there'd be Stormtroopers at the event. All in all, it was a really fun, but exhausting event. I hope we'll get to troop this again in the future -- but with twice as many troopers. TK-66744 signing off1 point

Thanks, yeah. Trying to. I'm kind of going with the idea of, YAGNI and "get it done and see what falls off" then make that part better. I don't want it to look bad, but unlike my last kit there are areas where the kit is more forgiving wrt how things are connected or overlapping. Those areas need less focus and the ones that do really will need attention, like sealing the seamless areas which is going to be my weak area and I definitely want those done well. I would also like to do this without paint (not sure that's going to be possible) but if so, there's no sealing sanding, yet. Now that I know how tough my other kit is, I am less afraid of digging into it more aggressively. Though I'm trying to avoid being sloppy and making mistakes like my forearm snafu. It also helps that there some really kick-an impolite person build threads that have helped a lot. This community is so helpful and supportive.1 point
