As a person who is currently in the process of researching as much as possible prior to making any purchases or understanding what this process consists of, with only the pure intrigue and intent on spending time and dedication to committing a pledge to the legion some day, I appreciate the time it took to put this together for individuals like me. Thanks again!3 points

It looks good for a starting cut. Once you make a test fit you will see if you need additional trimming references2 points

I didn't think about that big of a sanding block! I have been doing just a slight amount of spot sanding, but the large block makes a lot more sense.2 points

Unfortunately staff do get busy and some things can be missed, I know there are still other CRL's missing items or have incorrect information, there is a process to CRL changes and can take some time especially if other CRL's are being worked on around the same time. If ever this issue arises again either keep plugging away and asking or message the DL directly. Anyone making a pauldron note there are some specific differences with this pauldron and this is the perfect time to address some of these and do some updates so we can get a L3 approvable pauldron photo added to the CRL. Note the closure, no rivets, attached under the pauldron, not curved to a point, a thin edged/sewn strap. ed. Could add velcro to one end so it attaches underneath the pauldron. Anyone looking for a pauldron template you can find one here Note the black areas only have 5 segments not 6 like in the template2 points

More filling. More sanding. Im feeling better about this. It’s still not perfect. Little pits keep appearing. Wondering if I need to just paint it. Filled, sanded, and polished with Novus. Still doesn’t match the high high gloss surrounding. But honestly it’s shiny enough and I feel like I’m an obscure enough location not to stand out as odd. I don’t know. Thoughts? Still have to refill and resand and repolish this bit.2 points

Let me start off and say I am new to all this. I want to share my experience researching costumes. I didn't know about WhiteArmor.net until a couple of days ago, unfortunately. I started researching costumes and saw a few websites, but then I came across stormtrooper-costumes.com. I certainly wasn't impressed with their website but nothing else seemed to make sense to me, and their website indicated they would contact me after purchase to get me the right size of everything. The cost was upwards of $2000. I did make the transaction. I then learned about this forum and was quickly pointed to the post below. My heart sank as I started reviewing feedback on stormtrooper-costumes.com and Jedi-Robe. I don't know if they make good or bad costumes, and I won't disparage them about their costumes. I will say that I was taken aback that the negative feedback I saw on this forum was going all the way back to 2012! And it wasn't just one or two bad experiences. Also, of course, stormtrooper-costumes.com Jedi-Robe was called out as specifically a bad vendor. Since they never followed up, granted, it's only been three days to get my measurements, and with the negative feedback I saw, I requested them to cancel the order and a refund. I have not seen a response to any of the emails I have sent them. I would certainly follow the advice of this forum and the many, many, many negative reviews of On stormtrooper-costumes.com Jedi-Robe. One of the goals of this post is to make it a little easier for new folks to find this and hopefully not make the same mistake as I did. On a positive note, I was able to connect with Dave from Daves Darkside Depot and purchased a costume from him! I was very impressed speaking with him and can't wait for the costume to get here! It's like Christmas, only 10x better!1 point

You are fine the way it is, remember you aren't seen from the back very often and you do need some room to move around. It is quite restrictive in armor and you will never bend your knees as if you are just walking around, mine I probably get about 1/2 normal movement. See if you can add some foam behind your sniper plate, it will help to push it forward away from your thigh. Check on final adjustments once thigh ammo strip is attached and you are fully kitted up.1 point

just checking in to see if this looks like a good trim line for the inside of the bottom of the right shin.1 point

Looking forward to seeing you and Kyle get back to your build once time permits! Since you already have two approved kits I'm sure you already have a lot of the skills and tools necessary for a TK, but here's a link that has some TK-specific information that may be help to you! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49412-all-in-one-tk-anh-stunt-index-of-resources-by-maskedvengeance/1 point

Hi Paolo! I’m super late to the party, but as others have already said, welcome to FISD! You’re absolutely in the right place for all this shiny white armor related, and this is an excellent community that will support you along your journey! I myself took three years to finish my build, due to various life challenges, but all along the way I had Troopers helping and encouraging me. It’s great that you’re going with an ANH stunt. Have you already decided on your armor maker? Apologies if I’ve missed a build thread of yours in which you mention that. In case it can be of help to you, below is a link to a resource thread I initially compiled for my own reference while building. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49412-all-in-one-tk-anh-stunt-index-of-resources-by-maskedvengeance/1 point

Applied the new tube stripe decals that are the hand painted looking versions. I also installed a more durable lenses for the eyes courtesy of @magni! Going to install mesh behind the frown tomorrow. I also wanted to double check the pencil mark for the cod piece as I may trim it down more for comfort.1 point

Greetings all, It gives me great pleasure to announce the newest CRL for FISD and the Legion! The Artillery Stormtrooper as seen in the series The Mandalorian today has the green light form the LMO office and is live and ready to use. I would like to thank Honeymustard TK-22540 (Logan Hole) of the Wisconsin Garrison for his epic work and research and assistance is helping us bring this CRL to fruition. A new to Legion and legion first. Congratulations Logan, your hard work has paid off. Costuming:ArtilleryTrooper - Databank (501st.com)1 point

There is also an option to trim the bottom of the shins to allow them come down a little more on the boot giving you more room at the knees. Definitely wait until you have your torso on to check gaps. Also wait until you have both the thigh ammo strip and sniper plate added, can make a difference.1 point

If you do get any wobble you can use a long piece of wood with sandpaper wrapped around to sand the sides straight (I use a plastic sanding block).1 point

I cut a piece of cardboard the size of my hand, inserted and positioned the handguard over where my knuckles would be then sewed.1 point

Here we are, three weeks later and finally able to do something. Can't help it. I'm busy. This is a quasi personal build along with business. Only reason I was able to work on the jetpack is because I'm also going to use it with my custom mando.....AND Dragoncon is quickly approaching. Need some stuff done. While hosting an armor party for our local Mercs clan, I make it a priority to only work on things for myself. This does kill two birds with one stone though. It was nice to be able to work on something for myself. When you're doing this for so many other people, it's just work. It was very refreshing to get to experience the hobby as a normal enthusiast. Not pictured, we were able to wire the LED boards with a jumper and leads to power it from a battery pack. There isn't an easy way to access replacing batteries often. More on that in a future post. All the parts for the jetpack All of these are off to the side. They're either going to be painted gray or are being made to be removeable after paint. Sand and glue. Guess what? MORE SANDING. Sanding down the seam from the print and an excess super glue. I like sanding and finishing resin print FAR better than FDM. It's fast. Mount testing with the JJ Industries style system. These are printed in ABS like resin and reinforced with washers and super glue/accelerator. If you have the extra $100 to spend, by all means, get the JJ set. Machined aluminum and the magnet is embedded in the fidlock. I will be running a 2" nylon strap/buckle from the back to the front to keep the weight up. Gluing the sides on to the center Last step of the day was filling the seams with kombi putty. You can get this stuff at any automotive paint supply store. It's cheap, dries fast, and usually only takes two coats. I could have done resin and UV light. I had other things to do, so it could sit and dry. Should be able to start painting by the end of the week. Should be. We have a lot going on right now. I kinda wanted to be able to paint the whole suit at the same time. I'm working on my Incinerator Trooper right now, too. The armor is about half way assembled. We're shooting a video tutorial for the R1/Disney stormtroopers while I'm building it. I'll post links when the videos are done. So, not like there's any lack of white painting happening over the next month.1 point

UPDATE Well, my last post in this thread was thirteen months ago, but I just got home from an eight month deployment and decided it was time for an update. At the time of my last post I was just getting started on training, I began with nightly cardio and cutting out sugary beverages. My routine has changed considerably since then, but the biggest change has been dietary, not so much a change in the kinds of foods I’ve been eating, but the serving sizes. Recently, I’ve started a new weight training regimen consisting of 1-2 hours in the gym five days a week (M-F). I’d be happy to go into detail if anyone would like to know more, but for the time being I just wanted to post some progress here. Posting keeps a little bit of healthy pressure on me, and this journey is far from over. Keep working hard Troopers, keep making progress, it’s never too late to get started. Best of luck to all of you. Progress Troopers, Progress! Last Update: 248.5lbs Current Weight: 217.5lbs Updated Goal: 200lbs1 point

And update to this. I posted pretty much the same objective review from above on TrustPilot. I was trying to get their attention to get a refund and it worked. The owner personally called me, and he came out swinging with the most unprofessional conduct I have experienced from a business owner. I will give him credit; he did refund me my money. I won't go into details of the conversation but the negative reviews seem in alignment with what I experienced.1 point

Hi Matt. If you don't mind, I would add that in addition to what I mentioned in a previous post, ("unroll" the TD a little bit so that, as the CRL indicates "The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap"), you can also trim the clips a bit, since they stick out from under the belt. Reference Image A minor dressing issue here... It looks like the undersuit is a little bunched up. Really, really, really nice job so far, Matt!!! Almost there!!!1 point

Standing in front seem to be the only option. Looks like it only got left bicep pieces, they must have been in a hurry1 point
