  1. Had a blast today at Glasgow Film and Comic Con at Braehead shopping centre. Honary member Femi Taylor was in attendance and we stopped by to say hello. At one point our pesky jawas stole my TD and tried to sell it to "Oola" I then explained to her it was stolen Imperial property and she kindly returned it to me. Round 2 tomorrow at same venue, bring it on! Execute order 66 The Force was strong with Fisto!

  2. UPDATE Well, my last post in this thread was thirteen months ago, but I just got home from an eight month deployment and decided it was time for an update. At the time of my last post I was just getting started on training, I began with nightly cardio and cutting out sugary beverages. My routine has changed considerably since then, but the biggest change has been dietary, not so much a change in the kinds of foods I’ve been eating, but the serving sizes. Recently, I’ve started a new weight training regimen consisting of 1-2 hours in the gym five days a week (M-F). I’d be happy to go into detail if anyone would like to know more, but for the time being I just wanted to post some progress here. Posting keeps a little bit of healthy pressure on me, and this journey is far from over. Keep working hard Troopers, keep making progress, it’s never too late to get started. Best of luck to all of you. Progress Troopers, Progress! Last Update: 248.5lbs Current Weight: 217.5lbs Updated Goal: 200lbs

  5. 8: 07.22.23 Classic Gamefest Been a bit slow with troops this year and took Dooku to those that I did . But I broke out the shiny for this one. Event was much bigger than the last time I trooped there. They had us outside of hall beef or bag check which was not great. Worked well after crush of opening.

  9. This weekends trooping was my 2nd time attending a Wedding. The Big Day took place in Beith at the Roebank Hotel. Where we were invited to escort the Groom down the aisle to his Groom to the sounds of the Imperial March! All the guests were unaware we were attending, so it was a huge surprise when we entered the ceremony. We were well received and lots of photo opportunities proceeded afterwards. This is the cupboard we hid from the guests

  13. Well, it was a wet one this weekend. But duty called and our Troopers were happy to serve the Empire regardless of the rain. Event was Stewarton gala day.

  14. This weekends trooping took place at Finding Your Feet Charity in Paisley. Finding Your Feet support families affected by amputation or limb absence, through a range of sporting initiatives and social inclusion projects designed to positively affect both physical and mental wellbeing. My good friend Scott McNair Garrison member TI-36963 helped organise this special troop that means so much to him as they help his daughter. It was also Scott's 50th troop, well done Brother! A great day was had by all with lots of antics and laughter. Enjoyed a game of jenga until R2 got up to his shenanigans. Our CO had a blast on the drums. And us TK's had a swinging time too.

  15. This weekends trooping was at Loch Lomond with the BGCP comic con. Raising funds for Glasgow Children's Hospital charity. It was a hot one today summer has arrived, it felt great being outside in beautiful surroundings with great people. The piper above generously gave money from her own collection to give to our charity. Lord Vader enjoying an ice cream, well wishing he was.

  19. This has been another busy Star Wars weekend for me, catching the 40th Anniversary re-release of Return of the Jedi at cinema on Friday night, followed by a troop at lagoon leisure centre on Saturday with the Imperial Scottish Garrison and Rebel Legion collecting donations for Glasgow Children's Hospital charity. Enjoyed the shenanigans behind the reception desk with Lord Vader and our Wingman Rotor checking the Imperial citizens are safe on entry. Special thanks to our spotters/handlers Tom & Lynn for looking after us and taking these awesome pictures.

  20. Today marks my 10th troop in my armour and it was something a little different, a wedding. The newly Wed's surprised their guests with an appearance from our Garrison, everyone including the staff were thrilled to see us escort the bride to the Imperial march theme to her groom. After the ceremony we had many photographs taken with the bridal party and guests. This was a really cool troop to attend, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
