  1. Hello Tristan! When you order the armor, you will send in all the measurements, and as Mario said - just write to them about it before ordering, since their customer service is really great! I had 112cm around the belly when ordering from them and yes there is a little piece of ABS in the gap, but I made it to Centurion and also got to be the new model for the Hero - so it looks great when you wear it! You should have a smaller piece than me and mine is not so big!

  3. DN and Hasbro are just in it for money, and Disney is happy to sit back and let them screw things up so they can take their cut. I'm with Andrew on this, I've read the books with Cardinal, CD-0922, Archex, or whatever you call him, and it is TFA era. The description from the book is stormtrooper armor, but red and he had a cape. Other references say that the armor was gifted to him by Brendol Hux which again put his armor in TFA period. Honestly I don't care, I just want this CRL built so I can make one. I think he is a character that deserves more attention and to be put in a movie or series.

  4. Relevant recent pic. Use hella magnets. I also recommend sanding your edges on a belt sander, with a sanding block/emory board, and/or sheet of sandpaper clamped to a flat surface. The cleaner and straighter your edges are, the easier the gluing process will be. Utilizing underside coverstrips first makes the build so much easier, if longer with E6000 by creating a little shelf you glue the other half to. It's worth it, but use every magnet that you can afford and work slow to get the best results.

  5. Hello fellow plastic army! Now that I've finished my TK Helmet interior build, it is time to start the next (and possibly last?) project for my TK. Hopefully this one won't take a year like the helmet... I'll be building the Blaster Factory E-11 and installing a BlastFX system. I don't think I will be building a particular screen used E11 (Han charging, Trooper guarding Leia, etc). My armor is based on Han's armor during Leia's rescue, so I'll lean more that way. I'm also not a fan of the crinkle finish. From my understanding, the ones used by Han for shooting were firing versions, therefor actually ex- British MoD Sterlings. The MoD ones supposedly were all smooth. The scopes are rough textured though. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'll have to check the reference sources and come up with a mish-mash of a blaster that has components that I like. So far I have the following: Blaster Factory (warmachine) ANH Pro Kit https://blasterfactory.com/product/-e11-blaster-pro-kit-replica-special/ Blaster Factory Power Cylinders Shape B https://blasterfactory.com/product/e11-blaster-power-cylinder-shape-b-metalmite-capacitors/ Hengstler Counter - Real - Originally sourced from Blaster Factory. Only reproductions available on site now. BlastFX E11 system: I bought this about 3 years ago, so there may be newer updated mods or features that mine won't have. But I'm sure it will still make pew-pew and entertain the young and old.... Blaster Greebly kit from Joseph (if any available....) https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/50907-ot-e-11-greeblies-anh-esb/ 14 Pin socket if Joseph is out (or to add to 3 more E-11's) https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/amphenol-cs-fci/DILB14P-223TLF/4292071?s=N4IgTCBcDaICYEsA2AjAjAFgA4FoxgGYAXJAMxAF0BfIA I know the "newly found" greebly discussion is a couple years old now, but I literally just stumbled upon it yesterday! The wealth of knowledge in this group always amazes me. If Joseph does not have any kits left I can easily order the circuit part and 3D print the other two components. I did note there are some minor differences in the 14 pin circuit piece depending on the manufacturer. The internal slots look different as well as some have lettering and numbering visible. I'll probably source extra circuit pieces to mount on my original plastic E11, as well as a couple crappy resin printed E11's I have. These will go towards a blaster charging rack display in the future. I do have to source (or just make up?) a way to install the BlastFX into the blaster. Most stuff I've seen basically shows a final finished product, but now individual components were installed in the limited space. 7. lol good Q: I have three TKs left & AFAIR 6/7? lids, sadly they've been in storage a while now . I suppose I'd like to sell on one of the the RS kits and maybe get a another TM again? So...... possibly become a Stormtrooper in the future when I get settled and get everything back & then back onto the three TK display with Vader, like my original plan that I always wanted

  8. Hello there ! Well , I'm thinking about getting a full armor. Surprise ... :-D I think its part of this hobby that you want the full thing when you get the helmet done... I want to go with Rs. I really like they're stuff and it's good to get in Germany. My waist measures 105cm. Is that OK for a rs armor? I know I could glue some abs in the gap, but would like to avoid that. Thanks for watching and stay safe , Tristan

  9. Hi Tristan, As far as I know from a fellow Garrison member (RS PROPS armor owner) with that same waist measure, you would need to add some material but I would suggest to contact RS props masters directly to confirm other measures .

  11. Sadly Terrel, the maker of ATA armour passed away, his moulds were up for auction so we are currently unsure if the armour will be produced again. We can only hope the purchaser is willing to uphold the ATA legacy.

  12. Good Lord, why cant they just make up their minds and stick to the original time lines!! To the average cos player it probably makes no difference but to Legion where we do our darnedest to follow the movise and time lines as depicted by the artists and writers, this is just a headache.

  13. Looks like they have Frankensteined this helmet, it has both TFA and TLJ elements DN Cardinal - wide side mesh like TFA but TLJ teeth and smaller clips/recesses DN TFA - large side mesh - even larger than Anovos DN TLJ - angled mesh area towards the front and teeth TLJ Anovos angled mesh towards front and teeth and smaller clips/recesses TFA Anovos It's not even a combinations of both DN helmets, the mesh corner and nose plate positions and widths don't match the DN TFA or TLJ helmets, perhaps they remoulded or used old Anovos. The closest match on the side mesh would be the Cardinal with TFA Anovos, doesn't match the TFA from DN which is really weird. My thoughts, Cardinal was pre TLJ so really should be wearing TFA but that really comes down to our DL and the LMO's

  14. Troop 24 Niagara Falls Comicon Day 3 Niagara Falls , Ontario June 11, 2023 This was the most amazing Comicon Day I ever had. Not as busy as day 2 but so many amazing experiences. While acting as a target for blast a trooper in the morning, our CO asked if I would be willing to be one of the escorts for Giancarlo Esposito after my shift was done. Well - that was a no brainer. We were taken to his room where he was giving his panel and entered as he finished. As we came in, he introduced us as the 501st and went on to tell the audience about the charity work we do. He concluded with “These people are my heroes”. He then came down and took some photos with the group and then shook all of our hands individually. When he came to me, he taped me on the chest piece and said “this here is the real deal’. We then escorted him from the room back through the show floor to his autograph table. He carried our Din Djarin’s dark sabre and called out long live the empire as we walked. I am over his right shoulder Escorting him out of the panel room. preparing for the escort through the convention floor. I am right behind him. After this, we returned to our booth where we were informed that Trish Stratus (WWE wrestler) saw this and wanted 10 of us to do an escort so she could record it and show her instagram biewers how she gets an escort. She also was very gracious and posed for a photo, shook all of our hands and donated an autographed photo for our next Comicon coming up in August. After this, we had planned a TK walk through the convention floor earlier in the day. We suited up with 5 of us and walked the floor. We visited a couple of comic book artists that had mentioned that they were fans of the 501st earlier in the day and made quite the stir as we marched through. At one point Billy Zane (Titanic) stopped us and asked to get a photo. Later on, a few of us went by the celebrity autograph area, I spotted Jerry Mathers (Leave it to Beaver) who I loved to watch daily as a child on TV. There was no one in line, so I approached to tell him how grateful I was for all of the happiness he brought me as a child. He gave me his biggest Beaver Cleaver smile and came out from behind his table to shake all of our hands and get a photo with us. All in all, this was an amazing day all I. Support of Ronald McDonald house. Tons of fun but a very long and tiring weekend. TK-96004 signing off

  17. Firstly, you need to be able to take a joke Justin. You have also edited this post numerous times adding in and changing details, which doesn't bring the topic back up to the top so discussions could be continued easily. Personally I am glad you chose to make the edit you made just now, yes Isaw it and it remains in the edit logs of this thread. Secondly the CRL needed a costume builder, which at the time we did not have. Now it seems we do, and so a CRL can be created. It also seems you have more references now also, so the task of making the CRL requires no guess work on details we can't see. I think initially all we saw was the trailer for the game as it hadn't been released, cant say I have time to actually play these games sadly so many are reliant on what we have here. Creating the text for the CRL is the easy part, having all the images and doing the photo shop work to cut from backgrounds etc is where the time is taken up, so once you are ready with your photos, they don't need to be edited, we can certainly do that for you, then we can get serious on making this a reality and another costume for our catalogue and members.

  18. Perhaps we also need a cheaper legion entry costume added to our CRL's Stormtrooper: Casual / Behind the scenes

  19. TIE reserve. That’s the reason. One of the most cost-effective ways to get into the Legion. But in reality I’m sure there are a myriad of reasons. Old guard TKs retiring, new TV shows bringing new fun kits in other detachments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. I’ve just finished my 3d printed version using a BS lid. It was a lot of work, mostly as no one else has really built it. The files for some sections have been updated as well If I were to do it again I would know the pitfalls and be able to make life easier

  21. Some of my favorite "out of character" jokes and one-liners when taking photos include: "Smile and say Star Trek!" "Make sure you get my dark side..." "Oops, I think I might have blinked in that one!" People don't expect us to be funny, but read the room - sometimes it's just what people need!
