Hi Marcel, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Just a simple adjustment here : The TD is a little high. It should be about the same height as the canvas belt. Your thighs look a bit wide at the top. This can be fixed by removing the back cover strip, trimming the thigh halves and glue the cover strip again. References Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. CRL L3: The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. Starting from the shoulders, The left shoulder bridge is slightly raised. Looking closely , the white elastic should be positioned holding down on the shoulder armor and bridge together Reference Images CRL L3: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. A single visible seam line is present. The Shims you added to the Kidney armor must be filled . You could use some ABS paste, sand a bit and polish. Reference images CRL L3: Rivets are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and about 10mm from the edge The rivets of the AB plate plate are too far from their ideal position. They should be removed, new holes drilled and the old holes covered with abs paste. It looks more complicated than it really is. If you need help, we are here to help you. Reference Images CRL L3: The large Ab plate detail shall be a separate piece attached to the raised center mounting area. Plate does not overlap the edges of this area and shall show a definite straight cut edge around all sides. Looking closely to your Large Ab Buttons plate, It looks to be trimmed offset, it's on an angle, eve though a little deviation could be acceptable, but, in this case it is quite noticeable. Trimming carefully the edge could do the trick. Reference Images CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. A common solution to this issue is to use a piece of Velcro behind to keep the ABS belt in place. Reference Images CRL L3: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Your are riding a little high so they overlap the ABS Belt lower section. Reference Images CRL L3: The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. A recommended fix for this is to trim the edges of the plastic ammo belt a bit to adjust it to those 45 degrees. Reference Images CRL L3: Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable. Looking at the back of your thighs, you have a small gap in the ridges. you can glue a small square of ABS plastic and fill with ABS paste, sugru or something similar. Reference Images Centurion is all about details trooper and this one is just a dressing issue , just take care every time you put on your armor that the Shins sits lower. Reference Images Your E11 Blaster Ammo counter rides a little back, you will need to re locate it a little forward. References CRL L3: The blaster may have minor weathering or base metal exposure however, T-tracks and grips shall be of a black plastic appearance with no silver/metallic weathering allowed. It could be a light effect but just in case, when taking the photos for Centurion , be sure the the grip shows black color in the surface. References That's all Trooper, perhaps it looks like a lot of work ahead for Centurion, but we are confident you can do it and we are here to help. Welcome to EIB ranks !!2 points

Ultimately, there isn't anything sad for FISD about this news, we know our costumes aren't cheap. As Glen mentioned, we are by far and above, the most requested character at events and troops and predominantly our members have to build/assemble our costumes rather than have them made by someone else. Our costumes take time and plenty of care to not only construct, but also maintain to get the best life out of them, and we relish in polishing our armour before troops. There is a lot to be very very proud of when it comes to our catalogue of costumes, loads to be very happy about and not to forget we have no less than four new to legion costumes currently under construction along with their CRL preparation. Just look at the motivation this whole event has created for us, and with these new costumes on top, even more will become Stormtroopers. So turn that frown upside down and get cracking on your new TK today2 points

Scott and Ashley's beautiful wedding. So much fun to see so many involved wearing costumes and playing the part. Even The Maker himself showed up. Preventing any gate crashers Not me polishing off the rest of the crackers. Queued up for the Imperial March. A slightly daunting sight for someone walking down the aisle, but what a view! So fun to have been part of such a unique event. Congrats, Ashley!1 point

My mistake, Steve.. I thought you had already purchased it! If you can have an ANH E-11 3D printed you can always change it to an ESB. Yes, it takes some work, but it's well worth the time and effort. I did one a while back which can be see here. And yes, due to the fact that ESB blasters were once pretty scarce (before 3D came along) correctly built ANH ones can be substituted for Expert infantry and Centurion approval.1 point

Thanks for the photos, Rob! I think you have the brow height spot-on. EXCELLENT! As for the side adjustment, since you haven't attached the ears yet I would shift the faceplate to the left just a tad, which should line it up perfectly. Another reason to do this is so that hopefully your bottom ear screw can be inserted through the bottom of both the face plate and cap, keeping them in place. You got the angle of the face plate set in a great position, so be sure to just realign the sides without changing that. Having equal space on both sides will help. NICE!!! Keep up the awesome job, sir! Looking forward to seeing your results!1 point

Quest Design makes one of the most screen-accurate ANH blasters on the market IMO, so excellent choice going with them, Steve. I wasn't even aware that QD made an ESB E-11! Although the ANH style is approvable for this costume at all levels I'm so very glad you went for the ESB version, and I am well impressed with the accuracy. They even got the "correct" scope! It could use a slight*** bit of "weathering", though. Some silver paint and a dry brush in a few areas would give it more of an authentic "battle worn" look (just none on the T-tracks or grip). Screen used ESB E-11 *** Remember, less is more, so no need to go overboard .1 point

Question regarding the E-11 in ESB config, from my untrained eye this seems to fit the bill but the optimum word is untrained. From Quest Design in Canada https://www.questdesigncanada.com/products/star-wars-esb-snowtrooper-stormtrooper-e-11-blaster-prop-replica?_pos=4&_sid=9e4c4bf4c&_ss=r1 point

This weekends trooping was at Loch Lomond with the BGCP comic con. Raising funds for Glasgow Children's Hospital charity. It was a hot one today summer has arrived, it felt great being outside in beautiful surroundings with great people. The piper above generously gave money from her own collection to give to our charity. Lord Vader enjoying an ice cream, well wishing he was.1 point

Went on a short but fun birthday troop for a girl in town. Me, Vader, his son (now in a Kylo) went to the EOs apartment to change and then we were led to the premises where the party was taking place. It was the usual ; hugs, high-fives, photos, etc. All-in-all didn't take more than 10 min but it was nice anyway.1 point
