  2. And for anyone following this is one reason we use E6000, mistakes can happen but at least with this glue you have the chance to separate pieces without a great deal of work or cleanup, with a permanent glue there would be no chance. Looking forward to seeing round 2

  3. Nice work trooper, if you have any issues with adding images many of us us Imgur a free image host, upload there then copy and past the "direct link" of the images straight into your thread.

  4. I second what Kyle said. Some gaps are certainly normal. Have fun on your troop!

  5. Overall not a bad fit at all, but there is some tweaking that could sharpen things up for you. One of the first things I would think about is removing the padding from the inside of your bucket (or at least going with a thinner type). It should ideally ride much lower, and this should give you a better field of vision. Having it seated lower would prevent anyone from seeing the inside as well. One thing to consider is the strapping. In a perfect world each side should be pretty close to symmetrical. Raising the right bicep a bit and lowering the forearm would help. As for the thighs, it has to be considered that not all troopers are the same size so allowances should be made. The left side should come up a bit to match the right, but as you can see from the reference images below the gaps are not unprecedented, To keep the posterior plate from riding up, our resident expert on this is Glen @gmrhodes13 so I'll let him show you his awesome method of preventing this. The gloves you are wearing are the rubber type, which is required for Level 3 (perfect). The hand guards that are attached are the flexible type and look to be glued on. Perfect for Level 3 as well.

  6. No. I didn't hear about that. When I last checked ImperialBoots, they didn't carry my size (14 or 13 Wide). Thanks for letting me know about KeepTrooping, though. I'll check their sizes in their next wave.

  7. Ya, I was worried about that. Sucks being so close and can't find footwear that works.

  8. So I think I did a few things backwards, and will have to figure out how to resolve it, but the fronts are done. Now to attach the sniper knee and figure out the backs/enclosure

  9. I think you will find there has not been one added as yet as we don't have anyone building one here, that and we don't have a finished Remnant trooper or a CRL, no doubt in time this should change as we pretty much see the remnant troopers with just about every shape and size of blaster. No reason an area couldn't be added, hopefully some may share their 3D files . Probably find some build info on Spec Ops as they house the Mud trooper and others who also use this weapon

  10. Already glued them at 4:30 am before I left for work so I could play with them a little when I get home. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

  12. Nice models of helmets, looks cool! I wonder what program this was created in. When I tried to design similar helmets in blender 3d, my video card couldn't handle the load. Therefore, I had to use freelance exchanges and spend my accumulated budget ICOholder since rendering is not cheap there. But such beauty is worth the money.

  15. This is unfair, in my opinion . I've pasted over every other area and cleaned them up, and have reserve paste that I've actually been keeping tabs on this thread to determine if I need to past over my yoke-chest seam. Because I want to save 20 minutes on what has taken me quite a few hours to put together? No, of course not. I would prefer not to do it simply because I view it as a change in direct contrast to functionality, that will inevitably lead to more upkeep problems than keeping it as 2 separate pieces. I understand there has to be a line drawn in any group with standards, but to address it like the only motive would be to save a very small amount of time at the tail end doesn't capture the driving viewpoints here I don't think.
