Hi Pascal! I've certainly seen a lot of Armour Factory kits from the Spanish Garrison, but they're less common elsewhere in the world. You may try checking out this list below, which includes some Europe-based makers such as RS Props, RWA, and CFO. I'll let more experienced troopers than I actually speak into their observations of Armour Factory kits. @Chemi?

You will find the V clips do still allow some movement when bending over, having a slotted tab may constrict the movement, but worth having a try.

Hey, My names Thomas, they/them, from Sask Canada. Been a mando merc for years. Got an officer approved last summer. Originally went with a mando as i didn't want to be a boring white armour... thennnn... seeing groups of troopers at cons.. I decided I HAD to be one of them. Funny how opinions change in time! I’ve searched here on the forum and came across multiple approval threads with armors from AFP based in Marbella-Spain but wanted to make sure:are they any good?They say on the website that their costumes are good for 501st approval. It’s easier for me to order from a store based in Europe like AFP.

I mean there is no problem with the armor, a lot of people have been approved and as I told before there are quite few experts and centurions. But if you go with them I suggest to get the kit option, I have heard of some issues with the mounted armor. The issue was actually with a member wanting to have plates on the boots like Phasma, due to how a passage was written, not the actual Black series reference we have and that the LMO's were satisfied to proceed with. That from memory is the last I heard of it.

You may need to do a search for local information as to if they are still viable. We do however recommend purchasing from a vetted seller as we know there are no issues with their supply or product quality. I would also suggest having a look through the Expert Infantry and Centurion applications to see how many AFP's have been approved, can't say I've seen that abbreviation very often

I would think references of the boot color would be taken from the black series figure since there are no other sources, standard red FOTK boot, Sith Troopers use those With any new CRL a member should have reference images as well as all the images needed for the CRL creation. Yeah, the good thing is because of his history with the 501st and the interactions I've had with him personally I completely trust that it'll come eventually. Being patient is the hard part for me lol
